Croatia - From: The Crown Jewel of Croatia
Hi Paige, We're heading to Croatia next week so I enjoyed looking at your pictures and hearing your stories. Do you have any "can't miss" places that we should hit in Croatia? We'll be spending a week driving north of Split and then we head to Dubrovnik for a week of kayaking around the islands. Hope you are well. Marlene

P, I am kinda sad reading this blog as I know you are not out there doing it RIGHT NOW, but are instead sipping pina coladas by your parents' new pool. Haha. I love the pic out the train at night. Incredible shot. Nice camera. You have GOT to do some cool photo collage to hang on the walls. R

Paige - I'm so proud of you - what a great experience! I remember after a month in the south of Spain I finally said "What the heck?!" and laid out -- sans top -- one day at the beach -- of course, in hindsight I should of used a lot more sunscreen - as that part of my body had never seen the light of day before! The next day my roomate mentioned my uh...tan lines...to the liking of a neopolitan ice cream bar - it kinda became my nickname towards the end of the trip, but hey, now I can say I did it!

Your blog entries are really always the most interesting to read. Big smile. After your visit in the Schwabenquellen you should consider a visit of the Friedrichsbad in Baden-Baden. With your new experiences you're now perfectly prepared for the Olympus of German bathing culture (actually it's a Roman-Irish bath). And it's only a short hop from Karlsruhe. Viele Grüße in die alte badische Hauptstadt.

So jealous of your sunny skiing trip! Went to Keystone for New Year's Eve weekend - it was -19 degrees!, white out snow (even the highway closed for a day and lots of flights to Denver were canceled) - they had to close the gondola and several lifts because of the wind - so didn't get to ski much - hoping to get back up there in March. Sweet - From: A day in the life...
Paige it sounds like you are having a great time in the good ole Germany. Sounds like lots of walking and drinking though. Sounds likea cool weekend? I think my parents went on a cruise down the Rhein River but they said it was cold, of course I think they went in March so... Do you have trips planned for all your weekends or do you just get to make them up as you go? I keep forgetting to get skype but I will get it at some point. Anyway have fun this weekend.

cute new shoes -- hope they treat your feet better than your old ones did. wish i could be drinking wine and staying in a castle with you this weekend! alas, i'll be drinking wine in the comfort of my own home, most likely in my pajamas. :)

I'm so happy for you! - From: Germany Info
Paige, I'm so happy for you that you got placed in Hamburg as you wanted. I know you'll have a blast - afterall it's my hometown :) you should get the book: Get local! hamburg - a newcomer's guide to the city. you can order the book here: http://www.getlocal.eu.com/ -> the website also has a local event calendar. it has been written by two girls from Australia and South Africa. Have fun in Cologne and Hamburg.

Wondering - From: Roadtrip Home
Was wondering when we'd hear from you. Was thinking that surely you'd have time to tell us about your road trip home once you got there & had a couple of months off before Germany. Didn't even take 24 hours before your cube was occupied by your Chi-O Sorority sister. We miss you at Integer!!
