The sun is shining I'm working at home today and yesterday I worked at our customer's office which was fantastic I actually woke up early to do some work before I left so I was extra ready. The culprit it seems is passion. ldquoPassion it lies in all of us sleeping.. http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Denmark/Region-Hovedstaden/Copenhagen/blog-457642.html Rome for the weekend If the plane ride and weather greeting us in Rome was a sign it would have indicated how turbulent a time its been to get to Rome. The second plane ride had endless turbulence and it was an insane thunder and lightening storm the first night in Rome. Dzl has been working like a crazy person to prepare for Florence working all hours of the day to get his other work done and get ready for the fe http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Italy/Lazio/Rome/blog-445510.html Reflecting Its either all gone terribly wrong or its all making perfect sense. Deciding between the two is the very difficult part. I've gone from devastated to calm tonight. I found a perfect recipe here httpblog.fatfreevegan.com200602frenchlentilandportabellastew.html I love this blog and recommend it to everyone. She's completely incredible. As I was waiting for the soup to simmer I poured myse http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Denmark/Region-Hovedstaden/Copenhagen/blog-456538.html Florence Festival Della Creativita Here I will write something about how horrible Florence was but how awesome the people at Festival Della Creativita that we met were. Shout outs to Mike from Vancouver and Peter and Abby from the NL. http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Italy/Tuscany/Florence/blog-456537.html Vancouver in the summer I'm writing this on a train ride to Florence from Rome where we've just had a beautiful vacation for the weekend that I'll write about...after this. We visited Canada for a quick 10 days but well worth it considering the visit to family and friends in the beautiful Vancouver summer. We started out after a relatively painfree flight by going home and having a great night of sushi and gyoza fulfill http://www.travelblog.org/North-America/Canada/British-Columbia/blog-445041.html Summer in CPH I actually have to go through my facebook photos to remember what the heck I've been doing for the past two months. Okay albums are Cocktail party June Random Midsummer and July So Far... so there we have it. We left for Tenerife desperate for a vacation and ensured that our three days th http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Spain/Canary-Islands/Tenerife/blog-411370.html Workshop in Dundee fun in Edinburgh As I write this I'm in the air to Tenerife but let's start with last week. We went to Scotland Dundee in particular to the HCIED 2009 conference. This is the same conference I went to last year in Rome and is comprised of the educators of HCI so its a very interesting conference with a lot of people who are passionate about pushing HCI forward and exploring how it can be taught. Dzl and I were http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/United-Kingdom/Scotland/Dundee/blog-401724.html Entering Copenhagen Leaving Stress So the time has finally come. I finished the last sentences of my thesis and felt like I could breathe for the first time in a long time. There's still loads of editing to do but at least its written. That was Sunday.
