hey cobra - you're a regular tony bourdain. I think my favorite part of this post is not the pre-snake anxiety, but your twisted, resistent mouth whilst you're in the process of actually eating the snake. hilarious. if you'd managed a ho chi minh t-shirt, though, I think I would have respected you more. but really, hanoi looks oustanding. dig the candid matrimonials snaps. ha. keep up the bloggin', brother.

Uncle Ho, snakes and meatloaf
You know, I remember our own Uncle Ho used to bring a "knucklehead" salad recipe to the Helfrich home.....It was made of green jello, marshmallows, mayonnaise and mini shrimp......Oh wait, maybe that was your great Aunties Anne and Loretta.....As a "selctive eater" myself...I am recently revisiting Grandma's meatloaf after swimming 5 miles at the local junior high senior swim program...And trying to eliminate bread from my diet...The meatloaf has strips of raw bacon on the top....Baked for about an hour....Seriously.....that's the recipe.... The snake looks fabulous at this point. The genes allow you this....I wish I were there for the 12 cent beers...love ya.....Aunt Mary

Education
Helfrich - I knew that you would get back in the education mode sooner or later. Amazing the school where you were, can you imagine if the students in America faced the same motivation to do well in school? This is where the problem lies and why we got so pissed off day in and day out. It's because kid's like Justin Gooch give more thought about what color popsicle they will be eating after school than any other thing going on. Just thought I would throw a little blast from the past your way. Hope all is well. TZaya

Eiffel Tower
Well done dude. The VHS or Beta show looks amazing. Safe travels and keep in mind you do have experience with something from Paris - the Eiffel Tower. Although, not quite lifesize version, it's something. Mark is creepy (maybe he's French with that mustache) and don't feel bad, I only know Spanish also. Quines tu papa? Croyz
