| 14th June 2008 Steve and Laura | Hotel in Udaipur - From: Jaisalmer & Udaipur Hi Kevin, The hotel we stayed at in Udaipur was called Mewar Haveli. It was a great place and really good value, nice big room and lovely restaurant on the roof. We specifically asked for the corner room with lake view as it is easily the best so I would recommend doing the same. It was more mid range hotel than budget digs but it was worth a little extra for the view! Good luck! |

Sounds like a fantastic trip! Do feel, although the blog paints an exciting picture of the experience, a bit of exaggeration may move this from a B+ to an A-! For example if you had said that you saw the tiger, it went for Laura so, in a heroic feat of braveism Steven grabbed the gun from the guide's hands, and shot the offending tiger As you can see..........I've had too much coffee |

In secret - well actually in Alnwick and celebrated with breakfast ( of the wedding kind) on the beach with children, two witnesses and champagne. How perfect is that... Secondly, I (Bob) sang a Shane MacGowan (teh toothless Iris wonder from The Pogues famous for 'lend me a tenner and I'll buy a drink' and Fairly Tail in New York) song called the Dunes recently (tell you when you get back) and the pictures of the Dunes are quite magnificent...
