Milan

On Saturday, nine of us paid 80 francs each, hopped on a train, and rode almost 2 hours to Milano Centrale Station in Italy. The train was comfortable and fast, and it helped to pass the time having 8 other interesting folks to chat with. When we arrived in Milan about 10:30 in the morning, we were surprised to find that it was not nearly the 42 degrees the forecast said it was going to be. This was quite a dissappointment. We trugged through the station in search of an ATM and a restroom. it seems there were only about one of each. I figure I should update you all on how my travels to Switzerland went. It was, for the most part, pretty boring. The flight from SeaTac to Frankfurt was very long, but I survived. The airport in Frankfurt is very Large, and there were so many people everywhere. It smelled like hotdogs, but good hotdogs. There were little stands all over the place that sold soft pretzels, coffees, and some sort of sausages(the source of the smell). Expensive, name-brand stores lined the terminal walkways in addition to these stands. There were SO many sandwiches! All the little cafes had lots of types of fresh sandwiches stacked up high behind a plastic divider. Fresh fruit was also a popular item at these cafes. Well, I will be on a plane in less that 48 hours, and that means that I have to get ready to go. The last two days have been spent running around trying to make sure that I have everything I'm going to need and that all my loose ends get tied up. Packing is rediculous. I've pretty much accomplished washing MOST of my laundry, and running to Walmart for those last-minute items. Other than that, I really don't know where to start. I need so many different things. The weather is going to be FREEZING, so I need to pack warm clothes, but there is a dress code at school, and I have to wear professional clothes while on campus.
