Since you are off to Barcelona I thought I would send you a recommendation for a must see- Parc Guell is great and free. A blend of amazing Anton Gaudi buildings and great outdoors. If you go be sure to take the bus as the walk from the metro is uphill and brutal. Have fun. Watch out for pick pockets and Barcelona is a mecca for them. P.S. the beach in Barcelona is sandy. |

Unfortunately when Jim and I visited a very minor cave in the south of France to see Paleolithic paintings ( it was only 7 -yes seven steps down) we discovered that he is even more claustrophobic than I am. So we will have to live vicariously. Add that to my fear of heights and Sherry would find me a poor traveling companion. Enjoy Italy. We loved what little we saw of it Linda |
