SF is On My List Thank you for your great description of your trip to San Francisco. I definitely want to go there but, as a lone traveler, haven't gotten up the courage to tackle such a large city by myself. But, your blog makes me think I may have to screw up some courage soon. Check out my blogs on New York and Charleston if you get a chance.
Catch up Just been catching up on the blog - thanks for the read! Love the beard, and the moustache comb. Photos are looking great, can't believe you've been gone for so long! I don't know what to say, everything looks really good - the snow, scenery pics - but where were the pictures of 50 year old fake bosoms in Miami? I feel cheated. Unfortunately for you guys, see you SOON!! xx
Hi Hi there,
Great photo, I was wondering if we could have permission to add this photo to our website please?
Looks like you had a great time in Vancouver!
time of your life you guys look like your having so much fun. and have been occupied for about an hour reading about it all. keep enjoying it
love matt
postcard arrived Hi both - thanks for the postcard and have just got up to date with all your blogs... fabbo time you are having. The house is going along well, so next year when you are broke but still needing a little holiday you can come to Eden and chill out and stay in the new place. all our love xx
Fabulous Hey suckers, I've just had a big catch up on the blog. So fascinated by the Amish, and the jail you visited Stef. Are you for real, the dug their way out?! Crazy. Seems like you've been gone for ages, and still ages before you come back. Take care! Have you eaten those donut things Hayley wouldn't stop talking about? Chao Chao, and thanks for the postcard too! x
Golf You look like your swinging a cricket bat to hit a six. Take Stef back to Tiffanys you can spend all your winnings from the gaming tables before you lose them ha ha. All the best from Grandma & me (Ted)
almost same trip as us..... Hi you guys,
sounds like you are having a fabbo time. It is almost the same trip that we took 3 years ago now. I wish you had contacted me after I emailed you some months ago for contacts in LA. We have a great friend there who would have been happy to do somethings for you.... she is over the top wealthy and married to one of the richest men in USA. The driver we had whilst we were in LA provided by Margie has become our friend and we organised him to drive other friends around whilst in LA - would have done the same for you.... sorry we did not get to do anything.
I am not on facebook anymore, but had left the message for you both on facebook.
There is a GREAT fish and chips place on the coastal highway on the way out of LA to Malibu - you order and then get kinda takeaway fish and chips but can eat it in the under cover area, looking out on the ocean.
If you are heading to San Francisco and doing it by road, absolutely go to Hearsts Castle...
Anyway, we wish you the bestest trip ever, and big hugs to you both.
Looks like everyone (older folk !!) might be visiting us in Eden for Xmas this year.
We just got our construction permission so work on the new house begins ASAP... we are really excited.
cheers and love

All Blogs Finally read them! It seems to us that Craig should have bought the shorts they would have stayed round his ankles all the time. Keep on having a great time Keep us posted Luv Pa & Grandma
WOW!! What a great blog, the Grand Canyon looks amazing. Sorry Stef but I have to support Craigs sense of style - not a bad hat! So funny about the shorts Stef, wish I was there. Keep on with the fabulous times. x
Hi kids! Sounds like you are having such a good time, we are soooo jealous! Hope Stef's wardrobe malfunction doesn't end up on You tube! LOL!
Its going to be 41oC for the next week in Las Vegas so slip, slop, slap or better still stay inside the casinos and win lots of money. Look forward to your next blog and photos. What was Craig doing with that knight?
Go Doggies.
Wowwww What a great time you are having and the once in a life time things you are doing. You are very very lucky. Look forward to your next blog.
Love Mum.
Hello...! Hi Stef & Craig,
after the busy days you are enjoying, I don't know how you find the energy to blog.
How was Petco park compared to the MCG?
You know...size...atmosphere...attitude of the fans towards one another...etc
Do they have to be separated so that they don't cause trouble for each other?
I like the photo of the both of you standing on the field at Petco Park.
Craig, there is a suspicious dark shadow on your trouser front...like you were so excited to be there that you pissed yourself...but I'm sure it was just the angle of the sun.
AFL Results...Pies thrashed Blues. Cats thrashed Swans. Port beat Hawks. Dons thrashed Saints. Tigers beat Adelaide. Demons beat Lions. Dockers thrashed W.Coast...and Doggies thrashed Roos.
Ella had just stayed for the weekend. We did some washing. She was shocked by the orange "booby towel", and I tried to cover it up by hanging it over the line, with the booby half facing away from her. Then she said "oh my gawd, it's got a vagina on it too!"
So one of you will have some explaining to do to her when you get back.
She has been watching the Simpsons DVD's, & Harry Potter...and I am hoping I can put them back in their right places, in your DVD containers.
(If I can't find the right places, I'm going to hide them under the booby towel).
Craig's letter was a (bank?) statement from CUA.
Dean came over to look after Ella today (sunday), cos I was working.
He went out to the movies last night to see the Leonardo Dicaprio film called "eccentricity"?..."serependipity"..."obscurity"... something like that.
It's the second time he has seen it.
Not much more to say...except that the house is very cold! And it's not just me...Ella & Dean say so too!
Look after your sunburn (pack an extra baseball cap when you go out...I've got a spare I can send you if you want...It says "USA out of Iraq" on the front)
Love dad
from Helen Hi Steph and Craig. I've been enjoying reading your blog entries and looking at the photos. Sounds like you both are having an amazing time. Keep on enjoying! Ash has booked a ten month trip- he leaves on Sept 12- not too far away. Have fun. Helen
Hello...! Hi Stef & Craig,
am not sure if I am bligging instead of blogging...or whether you are both having too much fun to add another entry...but I can't seem to get past your 3rd entry.
So don't know if there's a 4th entry that I am unable to get to, or not.
Anyway, check my previous emails to your email address stef, to find out what I have sent so far.
Latest letters are...for Craig...Westpac "earth"...and for stef "australian electoral commission".
Today is thursday.
I pick up ella from school tomorrow...but am dreading her reaction to the cold house. I have decided to tell her that you & craig didn't pay the heating bill so that you had more money to spend in America.
But don't worry...by the time you get back, it will be summer, and she will have forgotten how angry she was with the both of you.
News from home...
Years ago I bought a series of 5 books called "Dune". I have re-read the series about 2 more times...& love it.
I found another at a garage sale a few years back, and have been trying to set aside time to re-read the series of 5 books, and then read the 6th book.
Have just read the 5 books, and have been looking for the 6th book.
Typical...can't find it among the boxes of stuff I have brought here.
Just found it! Hooray!...Oh no!...it is a PREQUEL to the series of 5. I should have read it first...BEFORE the other 5...Doh!
More news from home...
There is a lingerie exhibition at the Exhibition Centre in Melbourne...and there was a death there yesterday.
A swedish inventor has come up with an idea for a bra that women can wear, which stops their breasts from jiggling...and their nipples from showing.
While he was giving a news conference, 12 men came in & kicked the shit out of him.
His dying words were "I deserved it"...
love
dad
Hello...! Hi,
I forgot to look for comments on the blog, and have been sending you emails.
Glad you had fun at comic con. It sounds like you had some luck getting to see what you did, considering the size of the crowd. Did you expect it to be that hectic?
It's funny that the Simpson bit was boring. It reminds me of when Luke Skywalker was at the convention, and people were disappointed.
