Hi Leah & Rene, This post and the 'best day ever' one have been my favourite to read so far, love the animal and Mackenzie Lake pics. Back in Ottawa Andre and I are managing to get through Tuesday nights without you two, but we have a surplus of Valentine's chocolate and candy, ack. Anyway - Rene I hope you had a fantastic Birthday! I hope you continue to enjoy your adventures. Looking forward to more posts/pics and your return (when is that again?). Amie (and Andre)

Hi Amie (and Andre)! Thanks for your message! We've definitely been having a great time :) We've watched a few movies here and there's just not enough candy (that isn't a million dollars, that is). Our flight back is April 26th.

Melbourne
My absolute most favourite city in Australia. Too bad you don't golf because they have some tremendous courses in Melbourne. Watch out for the "two steps" - poisonous snakes that if they bite you you take two steps and then it is all over. Have a great time - pictures are awesome.

You are sooooo insane!!!! I can't believe you did all those things in one day! I can't even imagine doing one of them! Loved the Youtube video :) I tried to read your lips to see if you were saying anything dirty or terrible. Super jealous of your awesome adventures! Hugs to you AND rene, miss youuuuuuuuu!

Pictures are amazing - the scenery sure is beautiful. Can't wait to see how you make out with the "extreme" sports part of Queenstown - make sure they pack your parachute correctly.

Miss Leah; Sorry it has been a while since my last message but I was away in Bermuda watching Deb run the Bermuda Triangle Challenge - apparently it was great fun for her - 1 mile, 10K and Half Marathon in three days - sounds like not so much fun to me. In any case, the photos you have sent are awesome. I can actually see Mount Doom (my most favourite movie) and I\'m sure it was fantastic to see where they actually filmed the movie. For the record, I\'m with Rene - hot tub and beer sounds way better than walking up 8 billion steps to the top of the world but as I said - to be young again. Keep the photos coming as it sure is nice to see the real thing as apposed to a brochure - it would be nice to see some photos of you and Rene so we can confirm that the two of you have not been kidnapped - lol. The gang here at Fleetway miss you and we look forward to your next round of photos. Take good care.

Dianne was commenting that you can write all of this great account of your wonderful travel adventures after hiking for 7 hours up steep impossible terrain while our son sits in a hot tub drinking beer barely finding time to send one e-mail with photos.
