Hello,First I must tell you my age which is 61.I feel that at this age my perspective of travel is different,then most peoples blogs i have read on this site.In the past twenty five years my wife and i have the travel bug bad ,we try to make the best of time allotted to us from our work schedules.we have a keen interest in the sub continent and Asia.What we want do do most of all is travel the silk road the best we can allowing the time is right considering the political status of the region.Let me give you a list of where we have been to,twice to Turkey east and west,three times to India once on the tourist route,Rajastan ,Varanasi and the Allora and Ajanta caves the other times to the south of India the south is the best.Then onto Nepal four times ,the latest by myself for a trek to the Everest Base Camp,once to Tibet.There is more twice to China,once again on the tourist route down the Yangtze and the rest of the basics,and the second time to Dunghoue,urimque Kasghar and to Ho tan in the Taklamakan desert.There is more but I think you get it,we love to travel.If anyone has any questions about these areas please write us .We would be happy to share any info we have to help you to make your adventure more rewarding.Please excuse the poor spelling and rotten grammar ,thanks .Since the last update we traveled to Peru and the Amazon was fantastic.We have trip planned for SouthEast Asia .Vietnam,Laos,Cambodia,Thailand and finishing up in Myanmar.Well thats it for the moment.Safe travels to all ,The world is getting smaller and life is short it goes by to fast So Go Now.
