photo permission Hello,
I am putting together the second run of a book (self published). It is mainly about the discovery of intelligent ET life and some potetial implications. In the book I cover this topic from a variety of angles. One area is the "possibility" that ETs MAY of had SOME influence on our human history. I am looking to ad one 6" x 9" page with 3-4 small pics of: The Giza Pyramid, Nazca Lines and Monuments on Easter Island.
I am asking if I can use your pic below (at very bottom or one similar) as one of the photos and also IF you have anything with the other two areas available (the Pyramid and Nazca Lines). If so how would you like the pic(s) listed. ex Photo courtesy of Paul and Nic (last name?)?
Please let me know. Any help/ideas greatly appreciated.
Best wishes and thank you for sharing your travels.
Respectfully,
Tony

Welcome back Paul and Nic, welcome back. I have read all your blogs with great interest and on many occasions felt quite exhausted reading it. I really feel as tho' I have seen the world with you - I have no desire to do it myself! James and I have happily managed 4+ months away on the boat, but at least it is like having our own home with us - no packing and unpacking which I found tedious for just 3 weeks travelling in Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia last January, with a maximum of 4 days in anyone place.
This summers sailing has been limited, firstly we were late leaving in May as James has a hip problem and we quite thought he would be having a replacement, but instead they tried an injection which did not work. So we left for Brittany via the Solent, but had the 'brake plate' between engine and gear box break 6 miles off the Needles so we were towed back to Yarmouth, IOW where we sat for 3 weeks waiting for parts and the engineer to fit them. So then we just had time to nip across to Dieppe for wine and to be stuck for 6 days due to strong winds before heading home via Boulogne and Ramsgate to Royal Harwich YC at Woolverstone to be back for July and Jeremy's wedding at the end of that month. After which we headed for Holland and returned yesterday.
James is booked in for a Hip resurfacing on 11th October, so the boat is coming out on 6th October, as he's not allowed near it for two months after the op.
Good luck with the job hunting and might you really consider giving talks about your trip - I know lots of WI's: local, groups and federations who are always looking for good speakers for their meetings.
Missed the best part Pity you did not stay for a few days up in the Rio Cangrejal Valley, the only area near La Ceiba to stay in. Cool nights warm days for rafting, hiking, zip lining, horse back riding and mountain biking. The Pico Bonito national park and hundreds of different birds and animals.
Next time maybe?
regards R
I enjoyed your Chile post. It made me want to go back there. Our blog is giving away a free night at The Point hostel in Peru or Bolivia. If you are interested, check out dirty-hippies.blogspot.com
Continued fun on your travels,

Lovely Oz Paul, just a reminder if you did find yourself in Adelaide I have a small towns worth of relatives there. Ashley works in the Barossa so could give you a good tour I'm sure. Glad to see all is well with you both. luv Kan Kan, Cinders and Girls xxx
LOVE Oz! I have family in Coolangatta so have played on that beach - freaky! Did you do the 'Muriel’s Wedding' location spotting?... Another reason to return is Frazer Island - it's alongside Brisbane & is, to date, my most favourite place in the world. If you're heading to NZ next, somewhere on the North Island my friend got to do Black Water Rafting which sounded amazing. Enjoy!
Bali I'm glad you found the good side of Bali...it is an amazing place. I fell for the Nasi Goreng, I hope the cumlative effect on Paul wasn't the same as it was for me! ;-)
Lairdy told me about the facebook incident...it made me laugh!
Touching....cloth Nic...I feel previlaged to be mentioned in your travel blog...although I'm not sure about the subject!
Paul...glad it was only a temporary issue.
Paul's antics! So the laid back kayaking position was no doubt a result of the team tubing exercise or did Nic give you a quick jab with the paddle for back seat driving comments!
Spiders.... You are not selling this bit of the trip to me! Although I held a whopper spider last year I would still die if one was outside my bed. The kayaking on the otherhand looks wonderful x I am pondering how to make a nativity costume for the girls so my life is slightly different to yours at the moment. Paul and the girls say 'hi'.
10 different ways to eat Omul The local fish sounds yummy!! It seems like you really enjoyed Siberia.
I hope the trip to Mongolia was not too arduous.
I'm very much enjoying reading about your travels, it breaks up the monotony of work...but then so do visits to the pub at lunch time...cheese burger and a couple of JDs...see you later!
Cheers
Tim
Hi ya Hi you two, glad to hear all is well on your travels. Paul you write such intelligent comments about your travels while all I see is you in a Mr Men T'shirt by the Kremlin. Nice. Nicola is he driving you nuts yet?
