Prayers for a safe trip home
Thank you so much for making it possible for us to share some of the experience with you. I'm sure it would be so good for many of us to actually do something similar. We love you and will be looking forward to getting together to hear all your stories when you have had a chance to unwind.

Amazing Adventure
Hi Stace, Just wanted to let you know I am following your adventure by your travelblog. Thanks so much for making it possible for us to connect with your experience in such a personal way. Yes it is true, you will come home to a very rich country where most people take it very much for granted that they deserve all the best of everything. Thanks for helping us all to feel that we are sharing this small planet with many other beautiful and deserving human beings. Jennifer, Jon and the kids Sarah, Clint, and Logan stopped for a short visit on Monday. They are so sweet and innocent. It was really nice to see them. We will be praying for a high energy last few days and a safe return home. And we will be looking very forward to a recounting of your adventure in person. Much Love, Stan

Bano
Hi Stacy! I'm enjoying your blog, finally...Stan told me it was on our computer at home, which I usually don't look at much. (I have email at work, and that's where I do most of my email reading. Anyway, it's great that you are recording your experiences, thoughts, and feelings. It will mean a lot to you after you've been home for awhile and wonder: Did I really do that?!? Then you can go back and reexperience it all. And it's great that you are sharing it with us! I really admire the impulse that sent you on this journey, and I'm proud of you for listening to and acting on that impulse. It's inspirational to me! About the bano experience: they have toilets like that in Italy, too. What a trip! YOu have to schooch back with your hands gripping the handholds, and your feet in little metal floor grips, and try not to fall into the hole!!! I'm glad I got to experience that, but I'm really really glad I don't have to experience it anymore. I may be going to India in the Spring with Tenzin, so there may be new and even more "exciting" bano experiences awaiting me... ;O Adios, Abbie

May God Bless you
Hi Stacy, Wanted you to know that I am sharing all of your entries with Jen, Amy and Jess. They are so interested and praying for you also. That hike up to the artist village looked like quite a steep hill. Glad you are young and fit for such hiking. It's amazing that the weaver dyed his yarn with fruit. How talented he is. And your little Earnesto is so cute. I know you will hate to leave them. Last comment, you look more like your Dad everyday.........I miss him. Have a great day. Love, Christa

To Peru With Love
Hey Stace! I know that seeing their way of life has to make you wonder how we as a society got to where we are now. I know your perspective has already been drastically changed. Do you think you can have an art studio in our home now? I hope your trip continues to go so well. I miss you. I wish I was there with you. I love you very much. Hasta Luego!

Hello, thanks for the update, it is really nice to hear how things are going. I see what you mean about the kids wanting to take pictures. Thank you for putting those on there. It is funny cause you thought you were going to be teaching kids, but they probably are teaching you a lot too. I hope things continue to go smoothly for you and yes, jon's wedding was beautiful and so sweet. Can't wait to show you those pics too. Love ya, marg.

Hi Stace! You look adorable with those kids. They are lucky to have you. I bet Julia called your Dad "Jueve" which is young. I love you and miss you. I've been sleeping on your side of the bed every night. I can't wait to talk to you again. Love, Ian

So informing.....
Stacy, I was living with you as I read your journal; good job girl. You seemed to be having one of the times of your life. Soak it all up and share with all of us when you return. I think, not only could our young people benefit from what you are seeing; but also old people like myself. We have had it made here, thanks to the good Lord. I just wanted to say hi and let you know that I am praying and thinking about you. Gary and Judy should be so proud of you; I am.. Be careful and keep on with the information; you are good. You could be a journalist; your description of your trip is so neat. I can't wait to read another addition to your journal. From one of those old guys back in the states, Walter
