Hello friends, family and new friends. For those of you that don't know I've packed up a few things, rented an apartment in Lima Peru and will spend the next month or so living and traveling in South America. I've decided that I'm going to do a bit of writing about my adventures and hopefully provide a bit of entertainment to you all. So with your indulgence sit back and enjoy the ride.

Living in Lima

A friend of mine that I met on my last trip found the room for rent on the internet and went and looked at if for me. It turns out it’s a separate little apartment on the grounds with a little kitchenette, private bath etc. They provide breakfast for me and their maids clean the place once a week for me. It’s in a nice quiet neighborhood near a university so I’ve been able to go for runs in the morning. It nice here about 70-75 degrees and the high 60’s at night.
