Thanks! My dad will be pleased of the picture of another foreign bus! Keep them coming (im not even joking, he really does like it!!)
A floating island, how bizarre! I agree though Lynny, I think it's a bit ridiculous! (although if you stayed on it for a week just to say you have, then it's cool!) ;o)
That place looks beautful, and the boat made of reeds is wicked, I love the face on it!
The sunset picture is amazing!
Aaaw Spicy you don't look too well, although I'm sure it's a case of "man flu" and probably a case of being a bit melo dramatic as men do, is that right Lynny?!! he he! :o)
And Pony Express.........ha ha ha ha ha ha!!! All aboard! ;o)
Take care of yourselves xxx
My fave blog so far!!! I love the pictures sooo much! Theyre sooo colourful and fun and GREAT! And lovely to see more pics of you guys! :-) Poor Gray being ill! Hi Cor you two have been so lucky with all your parades you keep catching on your way round South America!
My dad was impressed by the pictures of the bus (being a bus driver he's always intrigued by these things!)
Ciao for now xxx
hahaha Cheers mate that paragragh was exellent!!! You ever thought of writing....? Just a thought!!
That cake man is brilliant!! Looks like he is about to fall over and that he is kinda asleep!
Wow! That tour looks amazing, totally like nothing I've ever seen before! Them salt lakes look like they go on forever.
Them pics are brilliant, especially the clever ones which make you look small!
The toilet story is rank, but I guess you have to kinda expect these sorts of things now and again.......I def won't complain about the portaloos at Leeds festival this weekend!!
Take care of yourselves! Lots of love xxx
"The milky way stretched from one side of the sky to the other, so densely populated with stars it almost looked like a cloud." - this sounds like the start of a best selling novel - hahahhahahaha!!
The Pics in this blog are amazing!!!
Cocoa works a treat at high altitudes...or so some bloke off the telly with a very numb mouth was saying the other night. Poor little girlie selling stones...you should get one for all of us and we'll give you the money when you're back! :o)
Eyes opened I totally agree with what Amy said.
To me it's more shocking seeing these situations through the eyes of friends than on any television programme. That poor little boy who has to work down the mines, really sad, he should be playing football with his friends and going to school, not working. Although it's sad to see, it is these sort of things which really make me want to go travelling, to see completely different ways of living etc, obviously it's tough seeing people living like that but I guess you just have to look at it as an eye opener. That was a really insightful blog guys.
Take care of yourselves, loads of love Carolyn xxx
sad indeed Hi guys! yes we did buy a stone from the little girl! a pretty yellow one. Coca leaves .... yeah you just buy them at the market, along with some weird stuff they call a catalyst (can be banana resin or other strange things). Stick it in your mouth and chew! It numbs your mouth but doesnt taste great! xx
how sad you sometimes forget that people are still living in those conditions :(
did you buy any stones from the little girl? poor girl! nice that they've got a bit of a tourist industry tho. and coca leaves... do they just sell them at the markets? how odd! xx
I want to see Spicy the wizard !! Do you reckon the RSPCA would be interested to hear about a game where the sole concept is to throw coins at toads !!
