Central Asia - Mumbai to Kolkata

The second part of my round the world trip takes me across India from west to east. I start in Mumbai and travel through the states of Maharashtra and Gujarat. I'll then travel to Rajasthan, where I'll meet friends in Udaipur and then my parents in Ranthambhore National Park. My parents will head back home from Himachal Pradesh, and I'll carry on east through Uttaranchal to Delhi, then through Uttar Pradesh to Varanasi. From there I'll head north into Nepal and after a spot of trekking I'll travel into Tibet - the coldest part of my year out! The trip will finish with a whistlestop tour of West Bengal, before flying out of Kolkata on Christmas Eve.
