Que bien - From: After a while you think it is everywhere like this...few customs in Colombia/Latin America!
Great to hear about you and see some of your incredible photos. You write about some really interesting, typical Latin American customs! I reconize alot of them while i haven't even been in Colombia. Sounds like a really amazing country as well. I wish you good luck on your travels and hope to meet you and Sasha again one day.

...it is nice to know that people are actually reading (and not just checking pics) my blog! thanks Wanda! To Fernand - I wrote that these things are typical mostly for Colombia ...I have never been to Brazil, but so far I-ve seen 90% of Latin America so I think a lot of things are true...of course in my opinion :) But I can-t wait to go to Brazil..soon, soon :) Fedr - man, I really miss your positive energy! It is always nice to read you toooo! when will u publish next time? and yes..It was a pleasure to write this one...will drink one juice instead of you :) to Iztok - ej ves da si kr mal stejem v cast da sele sedaj mislis da se mi je zrolalo :) in JA, prodajalci so itak zakon tuki. se pa spomnim da si enkrat kupil en ucbenik al neki podobnega na busu v boliviji! Welcome to L America - From: After a while you think it is everywhere like this...few customs in Colombia/Latin America!
Hey Jana, I did like your blog, you see things in a very positive perspective, and I like this!! And good choice of pictures! I just want to invite you to come to Brasil, another 3rd world, latin american country. You will see many familiar gestures like the politeness and the toilet paper in the bin, but you will see that you can not generalize latin america like you did. Each country has its own cultural and economical status. Come to see the diferences! Safe travels Fernando

Zakon! - From: After a while you think it is everywhere like this...few customs in Colombia/Latin America!
Zakon Jana, ful dobr blog!

Haaaa, Janaaa! - From: After a while you think it is everywhere like this...few customs in Colombia/Latin America!
Pozrl sem tvoj Travelblog, kako fino napisano. In ce primerjam s Severno Ameriko, cisto popolnoma drugacno, hkrati pa toliko stvari izredno podobnih.

Thank you for these interesting snippets of life and customs in Latin America. Its always good to be prepared before visiting another county and to know what is expected and what is accepted as the norm. Your blog is well written and informative. Regards Wanda http://www.traveltripz.com

Wonderful photos. I am retiring in Panama. I think it's great that the Kuna women maintain their traditional way of dressing but I found it a bit disconcerting on my first visit just before Christmas to see Kuna women in their garb and leg beads walking around the Allbrook Mall with a cell phone to their ear and a clutch of plastic bags filled with Chinese imports.

Hi there, I'm researching Central America right now and this is pretty much the only area of Panama I'd like to see. How much did you end up paying for this 5 day island excursion??? Was there time to dive/snorkel around the islands?

Ey Jana and Ana! You remember me? Dutch guy (horserider, surfer) that you met in surfingplace in El Salvador. Good to read from you and to see the amazing photos. looks really profesional. It's a really good decision to stay longer, why not? There is more reason to stay here then going home haha. I'm in Costa Rica now and for me it's not gonna be so long anymore, enyoing every day though. Man i wish i was with you guys when the eurthquake appeared. I would have liked do dance with you in the street on that island haha. Take care and maybe see you again one day, Gertjan (Jose)
