out in the open, scenic, relaxed, warm and friendly...this is a different america to the big cities... no need for rushing, this is rural america and there is always time to eat a hearty breakfast high in cholesteral - biscuits with gravy, eggs over easy a side of toast and a bottomless cup of coffee before considering the rest of the day. time is spent up in norse in the hot springs, camping by the river, rafting, campfires, yellowstone park, old saloon bars and some heavy nights on main street, bozeman thanks cody to your and friends for being so hospitable now back to nyc overnight and then onto mexico city... read more

back in nyc and the humidity gives the city a different feel to previous encounters, it's not stifling but the summer heat seems to reveal manhatten in a more lethargic, weary tone... normal chaos and bar hopping, celeb spotting, drinking, eating all the wrong food, central park for sunbathing.....take in a yankees game vs the la angels, stadium which is about to be pulled down at the end of the season is more impressive than the game....through china town , drinking with locals and ex pats, a marathon karaoke session and then weekend in montauq, which is the last town in the hamptons and a getaway for new yorkers...beaches...nice white sandy beaches....soothed but slightly burnt i get ready to head to montana and see another way of life........ read more
