People today is Sunday. Yesterday after working hard on my thesis I decided to go out to do some shoping and take some pics of La Paz their people, their sights and the social problems. I was hoping to find some demonstration on the street, maybe some fights between social facions and police. Yes people, its been 2 weeks since my arival and the all Bolivian world it is starting to reveal it self a bit to me...Last saturday after a lack of inspiration to write my master thesis I resolved to walk a bit around town to take some pics..it is very cool all the city geography how can building, houses and shacks cohabit in a alti plano 3700m high. Yes it was my first night out in La Paz...went out with a couple of people from the office and their friends. It was very interesting going to some "boliches" (bar) and some Clubs. In great majority they all close at 4 in the morning and they all play from Reggaton to more western music very cool dancing all this latin rythems and seeing the talent of the guys and girls moving their hips dacing in couples, offcourse I just watched due to my lack of dancing skills for this kind of music (imagine Duarte with is 95kg dancing salsa???)...but every [View Full Entry]

People its true...Im in La Paz this is just out of this world....3400m high you find a city that looks like a Brazilian Favela with avenues in between and with 16th century churchs. Im already working in the Oficina de Micro Justicia. If you want to know more about these projects you can always check www.microjustice.org . Im steel strugling with the diferent pressure its realy hard to do the day to day things like cleaning your room without getting exausted. Yes people tomorow is the day...10.15 Durch time ill be flying to Lima Peru and from there to La Paz Bolivia. In total it would be around 17 hours of traveling and airoport waiting and arrival time is . La Paz is located at 3400m hight, I hope that I wont feel sick due to the lack of oxygen...anyway I already talked with my land lord and apparently no mater what time I arive a warm and helpful cup of mate de coca tea will be waiting. This Travel Blog was created to share my experiences with you from probably one of the most incrdable adventures that Ill have in my short 23 year life. Nexta Saturday (22nd of March) Ill travel to Bolivia in order to work in a Micro Justice project in La Paz for 2 months. Micro Justice follows the line of thinking of Micro Credit but with lawyers.
