Really really long time no see.... Hey! I saw the name "Celia Moore" on facebook, thought, "hey, I knew a Celia Moore once, googled your name, and found this! It's John Janzen, you and I worked together one summer for the West Broadway Biz when we were in college (I still remember the Vietnamese lady from Champions: "you have to talk to Kathy at the Fackin Cack!!!" ... wow, good times) Anyway, good to find evidence of your trip here like this. Looks like you had a good time.
Great descriptions Thanks for sharing the great stories and memories. You've now completed the third and final description of that boat ride and they all confirm a parents worst nightmare! But thank goodness for the openess and easy communcation by children. Sue and I still remember this willingness of children to help from our travels years ago. I hope your NZ travels are going well and you'll continue to complete the blogs. Heather arrives home tomorrow so it's a pretty exciting night here. Take care.
Celia.. I was going to say you should have called that security guy at the Bangkok airport! Glad your bank resolved that! I'm all caught up on your blogs and await more! It's so neat to get to "be there" with you kind of sort of for bits of your adventures.. Hope you had a great special day yesterday!
Lisa
Love the descriptions Sue and I just discovered your blog and I have just spent the time to read them all from day 1. They're such a great addition to what Heather has on her's and really round out the experiences you have had together. You describe much more of what you've gone through than Heather, so it gives us a fuller picture of your travels. What you describe resonates with our experiences of SE Asia 3 decades ago - both the attempts to rip you off and the kindness people can show. Thanks for being such a great travelling partner to Heather and April. Heather decribes the tears she shed when leaving you in KL. Keep the blogs coming. Rich (the original one!)
gotta luv the Court Silly, You just got to love Courtney for always being there for you. She is a true friend. You sure are one adventurous soul. Have there been any times where you nearly pooped your pants from being in somewhat dangerous situations or meeting any weirdos?????

Uber fabulous Hey Model C. I am glad to hear that your special C2 in now safely back in your possesion. Your story cracked me up. You should be an author; you write so well.
Bye the way Nancy... Tim says hello and sends you a big hug:)
Silly the Author Celia, I knew you were a good writer, but you're getting truly lyrical and creative as this trip goes along. I'm totally inspired by your stories! By the way, I'd be very happy to mail you a Leatherman if yours is still in NZ. Let me know. Erin.
Leatherman That is such a great story. You should be a novelist. This shows you that there are very nice people within this world. This individual certainly has a very kind soul.
Hello from Edmonton Hi Celia!! I don't know if you included me in the 3 people who read your blog, but I do! Your entries are always so interesting, I love the way you write about things. It gives me a different perspective from Heather's blogs. Anyway, hope things are still going well!
Motorcycle Madness I even remember seeing a family of 5 (including Grandma and baby) with groceries hanging off the back and a dog in the basket in the front on a single motorcycle! And nary a helmet in sight in spite of the insanity of the streets!
Fabulous What a fabulous adventure and fabulous story for us all. I'm glad I am able to have a little chuckle and sigh of relief with you in mind! And those pictures of the motorcycles across the city... just like in Amazing Race!
