I arrived in Paris late in the day and jumped into onto the metro down to the Eiffel Tower where the hostel I was staying in. I checked in, planned what I was going to do tomorrow. 27th Feb I arrived early at Notre Dame and had to join the queue that had all ready started to form. I got out of the airport and wondered over to the Flybus ticket counter, they asked me what hotel I was staying in and I showed them my reservation for the only hostel in Reykjavik. I waited with everybody else as the bus pulled up and wondered what delights this little capital city had in store for me in the 2 days I would be saying here. My trip to Dublin couldn’t have got off to a worse start, the taxi I was in broke down on the way to London Gatwick, they had no spare taxi so I had to wait by the side of the motorway and the breakdown down people took ages. Net Result, I missed my flight Anyway, Arrived at Dublin Airport 4 hours later and £104 odd lighter. Friday afternoon and it has been raining all day. I have flown across Europe to experience the Central European summer and its raining. Right ... finally arrived however not without some issues Firstly, my dad dropped me off at London Heatrow 4 hours before my flight was due to fly, can you imagine how bored i was ... i eventually checked in and headed for the nearest pub and gladly consumed a few pints before boarding my flight.
