29.10. 08 We landed at JFK International Airport at about 3pm local and made our way slowly though immigration. After clearing customs we left the airport and made our way to the transport that was waiting for us. The journey to the hotel took what seemed like an eternity, caught in New York rush hour traffic to the Grand Central Fitzpatrick in downtown Manhattan. We arrived into at the hotel at around about 5pm and checked into our rooms; we arranged to meet up in the bar at 7pm for a few drinks before heading out to do some serious sightseeing. 03 - 10 - 08 Have no idea what happened last night as we woke up back in the hotel with a little bit of money left; Will was exactly the same. 01 - 10 - 08 Landed, collected my luggage and left the airport with Will after having my passport and visa looked at like I was a terrorist. I must have just got the new guy; Will's passport and visa got looked at for 2 seconds whilst mine, well lets say took a lot longer! 24 - 08 - 08 - Uppsala The train journey from Copenhagen was good; caught up with some sleep mainly, actually for the majority of it after a really late night. I jumped on the train at Copenhagen and changed at Malmo, I was quite glad to get off the train in Malmo as it was absolutely packed full with people so much so that I had a bike handle basically stuck in my stomach for the whole journey. 29 - 04 - 08 The flight over was pleasant enough, it could have been so different! My old man was giving me a lift this morning but the car was clamped when we woke up! Cost £600 Got to Rome and paid the 11 Euros to get me to Termini then had to jump onto a bus to get to my hostel. A nice easy process. 16 - 01 - 08 The flight over was excellent. Arrived at the gate where they told me that my seat had been changed; I got put in 14G, a club class seat. I was quite happy with this since I was knackered and I got onboard had an orange juice and read a paper. The CSD came down and asked me to follow him; I knew exactly what was coming next - an upgrade into first class! I made myself comfortable; there was a slight slot delay so I had plenty of champagne. 23-11-07 After much farting around (my flight left Heathrow at 11am, I woke up with a hangover at my mates Ben's house in Brighton) I did finally make it to Heathrow and got on my flight. I landed at Geneva at about 8pm and met my mate Lee in the airport where we waited for one of Lee's other mates to arrive, during the mean time we drank lots of miniatures, When he arrived, we jumped onto the train into central Geneva.
