| 9th December 2008 Eddie Mwiinga | - From: Zambia - Dr Livingstone I presume... The picture of the Zambia/Botswana border brought back memories of my many drives between Botswana and Zambia. There is a bit of a climax as you approach the border from Kasane/Kazungula that seems to say, if you are Zambian, "home is just beyond the river". Amazing experience. Sad you saw the Mosi Oa Tunya in the dry season. |
| 9th December 2008 Sues | Great memories of the delta - From: Botswana - wild camping in the Okavango Delta Hiya, Have to say reading your description brings back one of my greatest memories - being poled through the reed beds and bathing with elephants in the reed beds. | 16th October 2008 Kata | Imlil - From: Hollywood in North Africa Loving the blogs! I went to Imlil too! Your comments brought back memories... Isn't it spectacular around there? Such rugged countryside. I remember lots of goats huddled in the shade & kids cooling in the stream, then warming themselves on the boulders. I also had the same response to the food in Morocco. Not is flavoursome as I was expecting. And the mutton takes some getting used to! Great to hear you're having a fabulous time. Take care xo |

| 9th September 2008 Ali | I've been dying to see... - From: Birthday to remember - hammam, singing and cake ...how you would describe the birthday hammam. Exfoliated to within an inch of your life, while repeatedly serenaded with 'happy birthday to you'; you were such a good sport about it, but surely one of the most surreal experiences of the first leg of your adventures? Business idea: you know how popular those Red Letter Days are? How about hammam experiences 'alternative' for the day you'll never forget? Do you think the Dragon's would go for it??? x |
