My gosh what a struggle to get here. I was supposed to leave Toronto on Sept 8 at 4:30pm on a Skyservice flight. They kept delaying and delaying, saying that the toilet needed to be fixed and that they had to fly a part in from Ottawa. Disaster. At 12:30am they decided to cancel the flight and fly off at noon instead on the 9th. Of course, all 320 of us were furious - the staff didn't give us any information. TRIP ADDITION! YAY! I have extended my traveling from three and a half weeks to four months. It really wasn't that difficult of a decision to make. Mom wants me home in Hong Kong for Christmas and I want to get away from the Toronto winter so why not? It works out perfectly because I was getting sad thinking that this would be my first Christmas away from the parental units. Excitement!!!! (what am I getting myself into?) Exactly one month before I leave for Rome. Newly unemployed (by choice, not because I smell bad!), I have been doing nothing but sleeping, eating and hanging out with friends for a week.
