Thoroughly enjoyed Havasupai
Erin- What a spectacular trip. This was of special interest to me because Ann and I have spent time in that area on a couple of occasions. Ann has always been interested in the Anasazi cliff dwellings, of which there are several in the Sedona-Flagstaff area. I only wish I had discovered the area earlier in life. At our age, we probably saw about one-tenth of what you discovered. George

LOVE your pictures....the ones of the kids jumping off the rocks/cliff are award winners! The R&R part of your Africa trip looks far more inviting than the Kilimenjaro climb....the rest and relaxation was well deserved after the strenuous mountain summit. Thanks for sharing! xoxo

Ya did it again!
Kili today--Mars tomorrow, right? (after the safari!)--can't wait for the pictures. Truly enjoyed the well-written prose of your blog--can't help it, but the English teacher in me notes that every comma was in the right spot :-) Dawn and I fully plan to meet up again with you some day. Please keep us posted on your travels. The nice thing about being a prof. is having these nice, long cushy breaks to travel. Am getting close to finishing my dissertation and then off to a new continent. Much love to you both, and it's great to see you looking to happy and healthy! xo Shannon

It's great to be able to see your pictures and read your story without having to do the work of actually climbing the mountain! I will be smiling whenever I think of flashlights in a tent with a full bladder! Hugs, mom
