Amazing! - From: Mekong Delta & Phu Quoc Island
Welcome back home to sunny Seattle. Looks like you guys had an awesome trip. The colors are amazing. You obviously know how to use a camera. I especially like the snake and the puppy -- being a bit of an animal nut. And of course the beaches! And while browsing, I had to look through your travel blog history. Now I'm really jealous!

You are grounded young lady! - From: MotorCycles to Dalat
Hi Sweetie....giving me the heads up about your motorcycle adventure was very wise. However....the comment about "not for kids and if you're a beginner...."has me a little concerned and makes me wonder if you may have possibly previously engaged in this sort of (mis?) adventure? Which....as you know...is definitely against the rules and would mean you are grounded! (JK) Thanks so much for sharing your adventures and photos....I know it takes a lot of time and I want you both to know how much your family appreciates the effort. Love and miss you both (but have conflicting thoughts regarding your return as we have gotten very much attached to a certain little troublemaker named Kits!) xoxo mom

tasty looking spring/rice rolls - From: Halong Bay / Hanoi / Hue / Hoi An
Hi Kids! I can't wait to take advantage of the skills you learned at your cooking class. Maybe you can make some for our summer boat/camping trip? Shane looks good with the fan and I like the makeover Erin got at the orphanage. A little bummed that you aren't bringing a baby/child or two home.....but Kits is keeping me busy and is great at snuggling, so I'm ok for now. THANKS so much for taking the time to work on and send out this blog. I can't tell you how much enjoyment and entertainment we get from reading about your adventures and looking at your pics. Love and miss you both. Hugs, mom (Kits sends her love too...but wants to talk to you about giving up her canned food to help support the orphans) xoxo

i wonder what you'd find if you rolled away the dunes. probably plastic water bottles, spf chap stick cartridges, a grain of rice and a little piece of green- they have a way of sinking to the bottom. any dehydrated induced hallucinations? a rippling mirage? any camel saliva crusted upon your smiling faces? any misfortunes? don't forget that a truly epic journey demands both the magnifico and harsh situations that make all of us who are back home happy to be in our Americana faux splendor. ( sick Paige) you guys are amazing and i'm experiencing some spite. luv luv

Love you two - From: BsAs
Awwwhhhh....reading this blog and looking at the pics makes me homesick for the little apartment on Charcas Street and the two of you. I will always treasure the time we spent together in Buenos Aires. Loved our walks, talks, shopping, eating and drinking. For any of you that haven't been there.....they aren't exagerating about the beef and red wine.....the best and most affordable you'll ever find. However...There is a real danger associated with this part of the world that they did not mention. I don't know how anyone could spend time there without becoming addicted to "dulce de leche".....and so far I have been unable to find a 12 step program to help me recover....Special thanks for sharing part of your adventure with me! Tried the prawns..whew! - From: Panama City
With some trepidation, I wandered over to a street cafe and had some grilled camarones. I should trust my brother but figured that something so close to the Panama Marriott wouldn't make me run...or give me the runs. Luckily, the little guys still had their heads attached and the poop vein that was fully packed and present was the only poop I saw that night. I've got a lay over here again this Sunday and hope to make the canal. My goal is to get a photo in the same pose as you Shane where your in full salute! Miss you, Troy

Hola mis amigos! - From: Valparaiso y Vina del Mar

Mates, thanks for the voyage log. It's always nice tapping into your accounts- the ones from hot and cold climates- (below the equator belt). Does the world seem to be getting larger as you trek along or, is it shrinking? Atleast we know its more beautiful than previously concieved. at least there's that. Can't believe Malleck's three this friday ! Don't blow away at the end of the world.

mahabar! ( turkish/ arabic for "hello") yes...far removed from the lingo of the americas but i do know of a turkish man ( Mahetmet Ali) who's recently setteled in Costa Rica- i suppose vancouver ended up being too rainy and well, in turkey, he seemd to always find himself jailed- too many military refusals. Anyway..by far one of the most warm and welcoming indivuals i know...and i'm certain, if interested , he'd gladdy host the two of you for a couple of evenings, a couple of years. he's also has traveled extensivley around S. america as a "hiking " guide. mi and artistically speaking , my pale flavored body would be add for a nice diametric for future "beach body scenes" ...all in the name of composition. consider it. all my luvin. stay safe. -Paige
