Interesting Amsterdam Fact no 1: 52 bodies are pulled out of Amsterdam´s canals each year (mostly drunken guys who trip over into the water while weeing) Interesting Amsterdam Fact no 2: 50 bikes a week are pulled out of the canals Interesting Amsterdam Fact no 3: There are 1000´s of bikes that are locked up and forgotten about all around Amsterdam. We brought our LP Beijing guide from the 'Travel Book Shop' where Hugh Grant worked in the film 'Notting Hill'. After some well earnt sleep, we met with Angie (who got stuck in some doors before meeting us...) [View Full Entry]

We have started our journey!! We arrived safely in KL Malayisa early Saturday morning. Typical South East Asia it was hot, full of crazy drivers and advertising, but we were lucky enough to be staying in lovely 5 star hotel where we made the most of the pool and all you can eat breakfast. Our room was on the 13th floor so we had a great view. We even watch the fireworks for the F1 while lying on the floor on our bellys. People were lovely. Never once did we come across someone who wasn't polite. Just before we left, we [View Full Entry]
