1st snow day in years

I haven't had a snow day since high school and neither has WSU. It's apparently been like 5 years since they canceled class and it took forever for them to decide to close today. Apparently 16 inches of snow just isn't enough to cancel class for sure...it could go either way. Crazy Pullman peopleAnd it just keeps on snowing...

VENICE

Venice is AMAZING. That's what I have to say about it. AMAZING. I want to go back considering I only had one full day there and our insane tour guide literally ran us all over town the entire day. She was walking so fast she was loosing members of our group left and right. When I asked her to slow down she nearly had a heart attack and went off on me telling me I didn't have to come along if I did

I think I finally know my way around these winding streets. For awhile there I was getting lost nearly every day.
Finally...

I made it I got to Rome after 3 flights a five hour layover at JFK in New York and getting lost in the Paris airport. Crazy French people. It was about 24 hours of traveling all together and it all but killed me. I got to the airport in Rome and threw up. I felt dizzy and hot and nauseous and miserable. And then of course my baggage was lost. Luckly only one bag though so I have some things.

As it stands now I will not be leaving for Rome on Tuesday as was planned. We were supposed to fly into Rome for a 3 day excursion before heading off to Siena for 3 weeks and then to Florence for the rest of the semester. The San Fransisco consulate still hasn't finished processing my student visa. My dad half jokingly suggested we just drive there and get it to sidestep it being sent to the pr
