Hey you people. Sorry I didn't get to stay updated on my travelblog! At the moment I am in Dahab, Sinai, Egypt. I shall tell all of you more of my travels through india (mumbai, udaipur, jaipur, agra, khajurao, orcha, jhansi, varanasi, delhi, jaisalmer, horrortrip to goa, goa, nepal, goa, delhi, dalai lama city) and my adventure to egypt (sharm el sheikh, dahab) soon! I am caught up in life ... Have fallen in love (and am deeply in love), am working for a radiostation (www.radiosharmlive.com) and am learning how to dive at the moment... all crazy. And difficult! Around 100 people died and 200 people got injured when Mumbai was attacked by terrorists on the evening of the 26th of November 2008. My thoughts are with the families who lost someone in the attack. This attack took terrorism to a new level. 12 targets were hit. Amongst those 12, I have visited 2 in the last 5 days. I went to Leopolds on Saturday evening, enjoying the multicultural ambience. Monday evening my boss took me to a wedding in the Royal Taj Mahal Intercontinental. Me being at those two locations at some point already says who the terrorists were targeting. Foreigners, those who are friends with foreigners and the wealthy. Now.. why did it take terrorism to a new level? It seemed more like Guerilla Warfare than a terrorist attack. Just after I uploaded the last blog, I met Raj and his Gf. He is a dude selling maps to tourists, travel agencies etc here, she is a Parisian who is living in the south of France and well yeah. They're gna marry. It is the second time she's been over here, but they talk on the phone every day. It is quite weird to look at them, but also quite nice.. gives you hope in humanity, y'know? So it's not all about the money, people can still break social boundaries. She is a chique girl from Paris, he is a hawker in Mumbai. Life's good. salut! hello! hallo! hej! hola! ciao! The past two weeks were very exciting. Wait.. I should maybe not start all my entries like this. But, well , they were very exciting. Had another excursion to the centre of Mumbai in one of these lovely trains. It really sucks not understanding Hindi, because I was waiting on one of the platforms where the 'quick' train to churchgate was supposed to start, but they changed the platform and I got the slow train. Was okay though.. had a newspaper and loads of music. Part I: Partying. On my last trip to the centre, I took a stupid route - seeing the university, high court, oval ground, prince of wales museum and gateway of India - and missed out on one of the biggest tourist attractions which was supposed ... read more

Hello again! Mhhh. Quite a lot happened in the last days.. as always. Every day seems to be adventurous but to me, it somehow feels normal. Very weird. I think i've already taken in so much new information and new tastes and so on, so that nothing new comes in.. i really have to start 'digesting' some things. As we are talking about digestion: I have not had traveller diarrhea whoop whoop. But i havent rly travelled so.. ;) Thursday was shocking - as the indian government is planning to make all taxis which are older than 25 years illegal, the taxi and rickshaw drivers went on strike! Which means that i couldnt go to the office and couldnt do many other things as i need some form of transportation to reach anything. So i just ... read more

ILL UPLOAD THE PHOTOS LATER AS THE PHOTO UPLOADER IS BITCHING!! And yet, so quickly, another entry. Ive been experiencing quite a lot in the past couple of days... and as max wants to know about my deepest personal feelings, I will also write a bit about that. Before I went to upload the last entry, I went to a very nice area called juhu! (i will also upload a map of mumbai so you guys get an idea of where everything is that im talking about)... Wanted to visit the Krishna temple there, but sadly it was closed so i just wandered about the complex and took a couple of pictures (i will soon go again and make more pics)... soooooooooo... what did i do the last couple of days? Well on sunday ive baught a memory card for the camera and ive started taking some pictures, but its proving a bit dificult as I always leave work when its already dark and i still have to figure out what the best configuration for nightpictures is. Buuuut i have taken some pictures! hope youll enjoy them! Finally started my real job on monday.. it basically consists of looking at job profiles and then looking through monster.c0m if there are any suitable candidates! Hello my dear friends and aquaintances! So... the first real entry. Well I've got good and bad news. bad news first: I forgot my memory cards for the camera at home. I'm gna try to buy one or two tomorrow! Today, I saw huuuuge bats in front of our office building chilling in the palm trees, one shat on me. haha just kidding :p ... more bad news: i cant access facebook from work and have no internet at home so i cant read any of ur messages or alike... it feels weird being cut off from the internet world haha! hello peops! arrived in mumbai yesterday!! its amazing the city is so vibrant... cars everywhere, autorikshas everywhere.. people everywhere!!! wow even coconut trees in the middle of the street... their juice taste delicious :p im living in a nice apartment in the area of andheri - voted as one of the most popular areas in mumbai last year!!! apparently the beach is close and the area looks really cool... load of birds though! ive got a caretaker who cooks for me and reads every wish of my lips! the people are so friendly here :) i love it! had some amazing indian and chinese food yesterday! now im in the office and my work sounds rly interesting! im looking forward working here.. everyone is rly friendly again! okay gtg to work! longer text and photos soon! ... read more
