There are two more weeks of ruins and such, I just haven't had time to write them yet! I will let you know when I do! Congratulations! | 13th April 2009 everett | (none) - From: Notes from the Yucatan, Week 1 Nov 3-10 Pardon the belated response, but, your trip looks absolutely amazing! We are very jealous. Actually, Alyssa and I are looking at possible honeymoon locations now and I am very happy to have a first-hand report of Mexico. Hope you two are doing well! Thank you as always for sharing with us all :o). |
| 1st June 2008 Seeking Nirvana | - From: A week in München It was hard to choose where to go for Christmas, but I am really glad we went! I think we wish we only had more time to travel around the region! Glad you enjoyed it! Felicia |
| 16th May 2008 Sim | - From: A week in München I enjoyed reading your travel blog. I was also in Munich at Christmas time and really enjoyed it. It was just magical and it's amazing how warm a city can be in the coolest of weather. I am definitley going to try to return there some day. And the gingerbread!!! Yummy! |

| 19th March 2008 hello | hello - From: The Holocaust hello |
| 23rd February 2008 Carol W | wonderful blogs! - From: Rock and roll: Our trips in England, lots of pictures and reading! I love your blogs, and all the pictures, and all your thoughts as you visit places I have only heard about. You descriptions make me feel like I am there with you. I think visiting places off-season is more fun - rain or no rain - because you don't have to fight crowds and can really "experience" it all so much better. |
| 22nd February 2008 Seeking Nirvana | like a rock - From: Rock and roll: Our trips in England, lots of pictures and reading! That's great! I love it! You are so funny......! felicia |
| 21st February 2008 everett | (none) - From: Rock and roll: Our trips in England, lots of pictures and reading! All I could think of when seeing the size of that huge stone was "She's so heavy." |
| 7th February 2008 Seeking Nirvana | Haggis - From: Hairy Cooes, Armadale, and Wind I can't imagine that it would taste any better....well maybe it would. The casing is manmade (not made out of man), and it is made with lentils, oats, kidney beans, seasonings, etc.....they say it has a better flavour and texture than haggis itself! Go figure! |
| 7th February 2008 everett | (none) - From: Hairy Cooes, Armadale, and Wind How can they make a vegetarian version of Hagis? That intrigues me. |
| 30th January 2008 everett | (none) - From: The Holocaust Your words and photographs are humbling. Your trip is an experience that cannot be truly recreated, and I can't imagine the raw emotion one feels when seeing such horrific sights in person. I think the museum serves a very important purpose, albeit to remind the world of such utter inconsideration for human life. Let's hope it continues to serve that purpose, however, so that the individual may feel empowered to prevent such atrocities from happening in the future. Unfortunately, the U.S. still prefers to look the other way far too often. That is why it is indeed up to the individual to shoulder responsibility for fellow human beings. |
| 25th January 2008 Seeking Nirvana | wow - From: The Dancing City it really was one of our favourite places....a definite must-see....especially if you and Jason take a trip to Germany..... |

| 19th December 2007 Robin | DUDE! - From: Amsterdam Trivia I know how to make those pancakes. We called them swedish pancakes when I was a kid and as I became a mom/adult I learned another name for them: Crepes. Am I right? I make them all the time, with lots of fruit, whipped cream, powdered sugar...all that kinda stuff. The kids like them with sausages and eggs or bacon. So ...how quality is the 'TEA' at those pubs???? :P Take care stay dry |
| 19th December 2007 Cathy Mitchell | Tulips! - From: Amsterdam Trivia Hey! Did you guys know that I LOVE tulips!! Of course I knew that Amsterdam was famous for tulips! Have you not heard of Dutch tulips? When you study/learn about tulips, you see pictures of rows and rows and fields and fields of tulips in Amsterdam. I'll bet the place is breathtaking in the spring! Love you guys lots! Wish I was with you! Oh yeah-I forgot, we're getting plenty of rain here in Seattle! Oh well, wish we were together in one place or the other! Love, MOM! |

| 13th November 2007 everett | (none) - From: Firenze Part I: City of Art Truth is beauty, and beauty truth, as the famous poem lyric goes. I think art is a tangible form of both. Truth lays within art - truth from the eyes of the artist. The creation of art is the beautiful part. The human process of interpreting reality in such a way that can capture the collective emotion of a group of people, or even challenging contemporary conventions and creating a completely new style, is a very powerful ability. That is beauty to me...beauty is in art. |
| 12th November 2007 Robin | Art and Beauty - From: Firenze Part I: City of Art Art is a guy I went to high school with. Beauty is something we can see any time depending on what we think feels good to our eyes. Beauty to me is usually something that's been created by an artist, whoever made the mountains and the seas is/was and artist |

| 30th October 2007 Becky | Beautiful - From: Ymrodio Cymru (walk about Wales) Wow. What a beautiful hike. I had to laugh when you talked about the breakfast. Heinz beans and toast. Maybe even add a little marmite for that extra zing. I love reading your postings!! Miss you. |
| 29th October 2007 Seeking Nirvana | grudgingly - From: Ymrodio Cymru (walk about Wales) ok, ok....Jason and I are agreeing...it does look like a hobbit house! It looks like it on the inside, too! Very small, but cozy! |
| 26th October 2007 Erin Knight | Beautiful - From: Ymrodio Cymru (walk about Wales) England seems to be absolutely charming...I just sigh when I look at all your beautiful pictures and read your descriptions of the people and yummy food. That house really does look like a it should have hobbit as a resident. LOL! |
| 25th October 2007 Seeking Nirvana | Ugly House - From: London in 20 Minutes Maybe....with a monkey with armour! |
| 25th October 2007 Shawn Marshall | Ugly House - From: Ymrodio Cymru (walk about Wales) The Ugly House is pretty sweet looking!!! Does a hobbit live there? |

| 24th October 2007 Seeking Nirvana | Autumn - From: London in 20 Minutes I love all of those things, too! It is such a great time of year, with that little hint of frost in the air, but not quite there yet! Felicia |
| 15th October 2007 Robin Blue | :P - From: Getting Ready Hey! That case full of clothes! THAT looks exactly like my daughter's bedroom... :( Gotta love er' ! I'm in the office being rebellious and NOT working on the Boeing Grant because I miss you Felicia. Everett's playing some sort of scrabble game on-line. He says "Hi Felicia" |
| 15th October 2007 Robin Blue | Yum - From: London in 20 Minutes YUM! I love the smell of the ripening maple leaves and the sweet fragrance of the apples that are ripe AFTER the first frost. |
| 14th October 2007 Cathy Mitchell | FALL - From: London in 20 Minutes What I love about fall is all the changing colors and the comfortable weather. Boise fall is warm, sunny and beautiful. Our home has numerous maple trees near by and their changing colors are remarkable. Now in Seattle, I am being reintroduced to fall here. The trees and the colors are somehow different, but magnificently beautiful as well. The weather is much more wet (duh!) and chilly. I miss the warmth of Boise this time of year but am really enjoying the difference of the season here. What's the worst part of fall? Cleaning up all the leaves (was fun as a kid, but not so much as an adult!). Love to you both! We miss you lots and are taking great care of the "forest"! |
| 14th October 2007 everett | (none) - From: London in 20 Minutes My favorite part about autumn...has traditionally been football season. Not just professional football, but local sports in general. Because that's always meant band is back in session. And also generally speaking, I've always enjoyed coming back to school. But not that I'm an 'adult,'...perhaps my favorite fall things should mature with my age. I must say I appreciate the noticeable change in mood in people as Christmas draws nearer. Though I do find its commercialization and lengthy season rather annoying, I do enjoy seeing others take the time to focus on their friends and family for a change. Oh, and Halloween. |
| 11th October 2007 Carol W | Loverly day off! - From: Fancy a pint? Now that looks good! Wish I could join you! Glad to hear you are having fun together at last. My next day off comes next week - I am heading to Chelan for a few days of vegitating. Thought you might like to hear that Gail is back, 2600 miles of treking later. Snow kept her 70 miles from finishing at the border, but she will finish as soon as the wether clears. Other than that, some 'ol here - We just miss you lots and ove the blog. |
| 8th October 2007 karina | Yeah - From: Fancy a pint? I am glad to hear you two are fine and enjoying the scenery. I love the pictures. And the brief history lecture on brew. So much I did not know. Drink a pint for me. Later you two.... |

I so miss you at work,it is just not the same. Bill and I went to a play and out to dinner down in Seattle this weekend. We had a dinner at this place on lake Union. It called Rock Salt. the play was at seattle Center. It was my birthday gift from Bill. The play we saw was To Kill a Mcking bird. It was a great time. Derrick took my car to the casino and some one smashed into my door so I am waiting to hear how this person is going to pay for it. Itt is very interesting how the tribal police work. Anyway I'm still here being jealous of you being there- hope to hear fromyou soon- Jennifer |
