Sydney is certainly all its cracked up to be. Its easy to see that people come here and don't want to leave. It has everything you want in a city plus sun, beaches, water and so much space! Scott writes: Flying to Bali Flying to Bali via Brunei for our two week stay on Paradise Island was like an economy class dream on Royal Brunei Airlines. Even though flying still gives me the Hibbie Jibbies I soon forgot about that once the movies on demand flashed up on my seat TV and PS2 style joy pad for arcade games. Kat writes: Hippy hippy Pai! After a 3.5hr mini bus journey even further into the mountains we arrived in Pai. Got ourselves the nicest bungalow by a river with a veranda covered in cushions, looking out to the mountain scenery. So relaxing. Meant to go out for a quiet drink, which is very easy in Pai because everything closes at around midnight. Except, the 24 hr Seven Eleven. If only we hadn't discovered that! Kat writes: Yipee! Back in Thailand, and from where we have been since, this now feels like complete luxury (and expensive, which it totally isn't!) We flew in from Siem Reap to Bangkok and then straight up to Chang Mai, a laid back cultural city which is considered the capital of the North. Kat writes: Well, when we cruised out of Vietnam into Cambodia through the Mekong River we really didn't know what to expect. People we have met on our travels were quick to tell us all the countries faults and annoyances but we wanted to keep an open mind and were so looking forward to seeing Angkor Wats that nothing would have stopped us coming here. And after spending 8 nights in Cambodia we wished we had longer - what an amazing country.
