10/6/2009 Khun chan mak Another day here in Lop Buri. All I can say is TGIF. This has been one of the longest, most wearing weeks I have had in awhile! First week of teaching huh…Well I think I have an extremely hard school. I have talked to some of my friends in other parts of Thailand and yes they have LOUD, rambunctious kids…but they don’t have long classes or don’t have to be so professional. We are in an office of ALL women who honestly hate us. 10/10/2009 Okkk sooo I skipped a few days and am jumping around a [View Full Entry]

Sawa dee Ka... Khun sabai di mai? So my first week in Lopburi. It has been fun! I have def spent a TON more money than I thought I would, for example sheets, food, fan, that stuff. But besides that it has been great. All..ok well most of the spiders are out of my room now. I killed two on Sunday but that was it. I have these weird little guys that look like paper on the wall, but they stick their red head out of the "paper/shell" and craw up and down the walls. God knows what they are, but [View Full Entry]

Hola! Well not the correct language but today I had enough of speaking Thai. So I am not going to. Well today is October 25th I think....I am now in my hometown of Lop Buri. My hometown for mmm possibly the next year. I arrived yesterday in my quite little town and noticed that this is now the real culture of Thailand! We are by far the only white people here. We keep making a joke that the song by One Republic "Stop and Stare" is now our theme song. Elise has it worse because of her blonde hair blue eye [View Full Entry]

10/14/2009 Ok so as of this very second I wanted to shove my comp up someone’s ass. The reason for that I just typed a 4 page blog and forgot to save it because I am so damn smart, and it disappeared. Can’t get it back. So I am going to start over with this stupid thing! HEY! Ha.. Sorry I haven’t written in a few days, or say a week. I have been so extremely busy. So I will start off by saying I am still having an amazing time. Last week the weather sucked, rained nonstop and this week [View Full Entry]

Well my title pretty much says it. I just got back from the best weekend I have had in a long time. It started out with leaving class on Friday. We went to the pool and just relaxed. The whole crew here (about 40) were all pretty much going on a group gathering to Kho Pei Pei for the weekend. I decided I didn't want to go with that many people and just get drunk all the time. If I am going to go spend money, I wanted to actually enjoy the day and see all the islands. Well that worked [View Full Entry]

9/28/09 Today- The first day of our training class. It was interesting yet set some realistic standards. I realized (not that I hadn’t before) that we are going to be teaching 50 kids PER class how to speak English. When truth be told these kids don’t know English. So we will be drawing pictures, using gestures, and talking very slow! We have 30 kids in our program. All are from the US except two. One is from Canada while the other is from the UK. They supposedly like the way the American accent sounds so they usually only take US teachers. [View Full Entry]

So I have now been here for two days. The only thing that I keep seeming to need is sleep. After a two day journey on planes and meeting quite a few fun people, we were ready to get in the other night. We arrived at our hotel in Karon Beach just at around 1:30AM. Elise did a really good job at talking to our taxi driver, but I couldn't function. The only thing I could think about was sleep. This taxi driver was so exited about everything. He talked and kept saying, no money, no honey. It was so funny. Then [View Full Entry]
