Dear Sanje: as I read all your entries, I felt as though I was there with you, enjoying all the smells, sights and sounds. I think we need a PBS station to hire you to travel and write about your adventures! thanks so much for sharing them all. Can't wait to have you over for dinner while you regale me with more stories - I promise a good meal! love shael

So wonderful to read your posts--dream postcards, innit?
It has been so lovely to read your posts, they're like dream postcards, where many questions that you would like to ask are actually answered, and they don't arrive a week after you get home. I love how well you write and what delightful images you create. The part about moving to Tasmania wasn't a personal favorite, but for entirely selfish reasons, and certainly the descriptions of your encounters with the native wildlife are thrilling and evocative. Oh, and by the way, the Freak won the Cy Young again! Lots of love from Dad.

Enjoy the wombats for Claire!
Hi Sanje so glad you are having such a great time...Cradle Mt is one of the most beautiful areas in the world ...ENJOY! Hope you stumble across lots of wombats..the walk around Dove Lake is an easy must then if time allows try for a 1 day hike on the overland track circuiting back via Marion's Lookout. If time is tight there is a beautiful 40 mins or so loop walk at the back of the Cradle Mt Lodge. Best wishes, Kaylene

You rock
Miss you, Sanje! It has been so wonderful reading your stories and keeping up with your travels. Thank you for being so great about new entries and for being so awesome in general. Like I said in my comment title, you rock! I think I would be sad if you moved to Tazmania and/or New Zealand. Like Dad said, it's about as far away as you can get from here and still be on the same planet. But I think I could get over it if I got to come visit you every once in a while. That would be pretty freakin' cool. Anyway, I love you, I hope your ankle is getting better instead of worse, and I'm so glad to hear you are having such a great time out in the world, meeting new people and making great friends. You are my hero! Love you! Lots of love, -Bodhi

)($*&%!
Long and boring! Who do you think you are?! Certainly not someone who is ever boring. I'm totally loving your posts - keep them coming! The longer, the better. Though I have to say, reading about your adventures is really putting that urge to travel back into me, which might be dangerous. I'm so jealous of all the fun you're having. Love you! Miss you!

Hey Sanje, Sounds like you're having a blast. Keep up the posts, they are a ton of fun...I hear your voice speaking as I read what you write! I can only assume your ankle is behaving given your lack of mentionion it. That makes me happy, I was worried. Be safe, have fun, Ciao-

correction to your posting
I noticed an area in your first blog that although not incorrect, could perhaps be improved. Below is a minor adjustment. In the line " My friend Rob had the genius idea of asking at check-in if there were any upgrades because of my ankle." I believe it better stated (for the purposes of being exact). My friend Rob, the genius, had the idea of asking at check-in....or perhaps; Rob, my friend who happens to also be a genius, had the idea of asking at check-in... I could go on, but I think you get what i'm striving for. I'm sure this is what you meant all along, but I'm happy to point it out :) Safe travels, kid!

Welcome Back
Hi dear Sanje, By the time you read this you'll be back in your house in Berkeley. The disadvantage is that you won't be in New Zealand any more. The advantage is that you'll be back among an incredible number of people, myself included, who love you to distraction and have missed you a lot while you've been gone. So welcome back, and thank you so much for keeping us in touch by means of this wonderfully-written blog, and I know it won't be long before there will be a new series of chapters chronicling the next journey. Big love from George.

Go Dolphins
I'm enjoying reading your blog so much (ever notice how spell check in a blog flags blog as a misspelled word?) The description of the playtime with the dolphins was poetic and inspiring. It's lovely having you out traveling and writing--it's like having a set of wandering eyes out in the world while I sit in my home in the woods. Thanks so much dear one and love to you.
