Snow Anyone?

Sorry no Pics today. Unfortunately snow, wind and rain were the only items on the menu today. We stopped and had Carl's Jr. at Cedar City. Yes, Yes I know, enough about the food, but on road trips all you do is eat and drive just like a baby eats, poops and sleeps. Fortunately I skipped the latter one. Anyways, back to the story at hand. Brigham City Utah

Statue 1

We made second leg of our trip to Brigham City. Why Brigham you say, well we didn't want to stay in Salt Lake City... and Salt Lake was an hour to far for the kids I think. It had snowed last night and made the roads through the mountains pretty slippery. The speed limit is 75 mph which is 120 in Canada. We averaged about 80 kms/hr until we got out of the mountains and hit sunshine, then it was smooth sailing back upto 130 kms/hr. To Helena

Great Falls

We are in Helena and checked through the border in about 20 minutes, much to our relief. I don't think the customs officer could be less friendly. "How many in the vehicle and Proof of citizenship please" and that was it. No "Where are you headed today" or "How are you today". It was a quite a nice drive compared to SK. LOL. On our Way

Hello Everyone: Calgary to Disneyland bound. We are finished packing and are heading out from Bill and Erika's (Janelle's Dad's House) at 7:30 and hope to hit the border around 10:00. We are hoping the line up at the border isn't to long. There is a GEM (a cool place listed in the AMA book) that we will stop at called "The Gates of the Mountain Recreation Area" which is a canyon lined with 1,200 ft limestone walls.
