You must be feeling so elated on a truly fantastic achievement. Going through all the details of the Entrants I was reckoning to myself that about a third were British (I wonder how many of them finished), there three OAPs of 69, another ten or so of 62/63, and a goodly gaggle of 50s . . amazing, or plain out of their minds; might have a go myself next year, if you want to repeat! I had little Flora on my shoulders yesterday about this time sitting here musing with Rose as we looked at the trail map. | 11th April 2006 Dom | Running man - From: WILL LYON April 9th Am trying to think of some useful advice to give you for your run but as someone who barely makes it down to the Tooting Leisure Centre more than once a fortnight, I’m not sure my words carry much weight. Only think I can think of is hitch a piggy back or a camel ride. The nearest thing I’ve done that is comparable is the Bristol half marathon where I had lots of mini-sprints in the opening mile as I tried to avoid being over-taken by girls and then thought sod-it and was waving them past by the end - and I still managed to walk like John Wayne for the whole of the following week!
