miss you & karma - From: Good Karma & Goodbye to Kaeng Krachan National Park
Hey Shaun, miss our talks at OMP; we have alot in common going ons in our life or mid-life crisis.... yep me too! Karma is when you showed up first walking down from OMP office and I never met you nor know of you, and we shook hands at OMP and you said "you know, I got an email from you." OMG! Small world that I would actually meet one of you travel bloggers out there! Talk about Karma! Keep positive...we are all in this together! Dawn

Silk worms - From: Good Karma & Goodbye to Kaeng Krachan National Park
Hi Kate, I am now back in sunny England & feeling the cold. I am glad that you found my stories interesting, and have much appreciated your comments over the last 4 1/2 months. I guess that there will be maybe 1 or 2 more entries to finish off the story, so watch this space!

Goodwill - From: Good Karma & Goodbye to Kaeng Krachan National Park
Goodwill never lost, you are right, Karma good or bad has a way of closing the circle. I lost £300 cash once and just had to hope that the person who found it needed it a great deal better than me! I loved the photos of the silk farmer by the way. I have sent that to my sons. You know you could probably make a little money for the charity by offering to do talks and slide shows to schools or community groups in this country, you are very informative!

Repatriation ? - From: Sunday Market at Pala-U
Hi Tiger, not long to go now before you need to start heading back home. It's almost like resurfacing after a deep sea dive....need to come back to the surface gradually, take it easy, don't lose touch with those feelings, don't fall back into the westerner trap to quickly - your blood sugar levels might soar........ That said and done....do you fancy going to the British speed-way Grand Prix in Cardiff on the 28th of June then on to the after party event with all the famous bikers in the evening ( all tickets with compliments from Nick) ? Well what do you say...you could thrill Brian and myself in the pub with your exploits....before entering the stadium (too noisy after that :) ). Oh yeah...about what I said at the start....nothing wrong with diving straight back into the westernised way of living as soon as possible either!! :) Let me know so I can organise a ticket for you. Steve PS. Can I ghost write your memoirs for you and star as you in the film? Oh go on, go on, go on, go on !! see ya soon

Damn those scouse taxi drivers! - From: New adventure started in Pala-U
Hi Steve, it's good to here from you, and glad you had a great time. If you would like to write my biography you are very welcome :-) I must admit t's true what Jazek said, you really don't need all of that extra cargo, + I have been bailed out by my Thai friends. I hope to be able to put up some more photo's soon - just to make you jelous of course! Still, I'l be back home in 3 weeks, so we'll have to catch up over a pint. Cheers!

Not a scoucer in sight ! - From: New adventure started in Pala-U
Hi Tiger, Just got back from Dubai after a week and thought I had troubles with my post holiday blues.... until I caught up with your blog and read about that scoundrel of a taxi driver (was he wearing a shell suit, mussy and curly hair?). I can joke - knowing you are OK is THE most important thing. What an absolute pain in the a%&£ but a great response from Jacek about no better way to lose your luggage!! With a little poetic licence this could be made into a great yarn, fable, story - to tell the grand kids how Tiger Toms fought off bandits riding an elephant with only his bare hands and the help of his trusted companion - his pet king cobra....I can be your editor if you want!! Seriously, great to hear you are OK and don't worry about the pictures... they only made us all even more jealous of your fantastic adventure :) Take care Tiger, Steve

Intrepid Traveller - From: Mini Disaster in Bangkok
Well, at least you are OK! Its a real pain to lose stuff that you think you rely on, but once its gone you realise what is really important - your health and your loved ones. I had a bad house fire once and lost a lot of stuff, so do understand this one. You have had some fantastic opportunities this trip, and unless I'm way off the mark here, found a very special lady too? You have memories to last a life time, and whatever you do next, I'm sure these experiences will have changed you for the better. Keep posting, the words are just as welcome as the pictures - and keep in touch once you're back.

The best entry ever !!!! - From: Mini Disaster in Bangkok
Shaun - this is the best entry in your TravelBlog!!! You could lose your luggage on your way back in Terminal 5, but this way of losing luggage is much more in Indiana Jones style!!! Now you are transformed from a western tourist into a real tough and bold man. Greetings from webmaster of www.katzer.pl

Wow! - From: A close encounter deep in the rain forest
I'm in awe of the experiences you are having - and what a beautiful cat. You must have been quaking in your boots though! I think you are getting a little closer to nature than I would be comfortable with, but I have a lot of admiration for you. You'll have to apply for one of those reality TV 'I'm in a jungle, get me out of here' shows when you get back - you'd ace it! And eating frogs - hmmmmm maybe not!

Hi Mike, it's good to hear from you & I hope all is well back in the land of cheese! The biggest problem I have is getting on the internet as some of the places do not even have telephones. Once I do get internet access, theres not enough time to spend writing the blog. Anyway, I'm glad I've kept you ammused, & I'll try to keep the updates comming as often as possible. Cheers Shaun

I am really getting into your tour blog. The people ,places and things you are reporting on are fascinating . Not sure how you are managing it all and keeping the 'show' on the road but I can't wait for the next installment. It's all going to be bit of anti climax after this tour.

Hi Ruth, It's good to hear from you. I hope that the Temple lives up to your expectations. I am sure that it will. I don't know how long that you intend to travel for, but I am now doing volunteer work with an organisation called Openmind Projects. You can see their website at www.openmindprojects.org . It has added a new dimension to my travels & I would highly recomend them. Good luck Shaun
