Trying to keep up with you. - From: The House
We finally got the laptop connected with DSL in Hawaii, and read your latest blog. The house looks good and fairly modern. I have always been curious about Bangalore, and was interested in your comments. Sounds like an exciting life. We love you. P&N

Ah.. Kethal's chicken - From: Kethel's Chicken
I enjoyed reading your entry about Hotel Rahmaniya. My dad was a regular customer when the place was run by "Kethal's Sahib". Kethal started the restaurant after becoming successful delivering tea from a kettle (hence the name). A man who cared about food, he used to charge little when some one came and ate a lot of food with relish. On the other hand, if any one ate only a little, he used to charge a high amount with a stern warning not to come to his place again. He also had the philosophy of " when a man serves another food, why should there be a metal utensil between them". I believe they still serve food with bare hands. Correct me if I am wrong. I will go to Kethal's when I go to trivandrum next time.
