Today's the day, woohoo! Too many stupid things left to the last minute calls for a near all nighter, it's 4am and I just finished packing. I really have some unrealistic idea's about how much I can fit in that damn backpack, but it should be good now. Time will tell. So I grab the bus in two hours, 3.5 hours on that bad boy and I am at the airport. 6 hours of extreme airport fun while awaitng my flight (can you feel the sarcasm?) and I will be flying to Glasgow. Well, before I head off for Europe, I have many loose ends to tie up. One being the need to renew my Canadian Passport. What a headache.. So it was off to Ottawa to apply for one. Normally I could just apply through the mail system, I realise this, but I lack organisation and as such left things to the last minute as usual. Well, I booked my flight the other day, so I now have an exact date. I will be flying out from Toronto to Glasgow, Scotland on May 3rd, 2005. Given that I have some close relatives in the Glasgow area, I will be spending some time with them, getting my bearings, and generally catching up on things since I haven't visited them since leaving Scotland to move to Canada in 1998.
