*Bing* The seatbelt sign had been switched off, in just over 4 hours we knew that we would be touching down in one of the most beautiful places I have been too to date. Sure I have been to the beautiful GreekIsland of Rhodes before but we had to go back again. This time it was another big family trip. As the plane curved round the island to land on the runway, it is easy to be overwhelmed by the waves that crash against the shoreline – this is the windy side of the Island, I reminded myself. The busy-ness of the airport was so intense and hard to cope with. The Greek Authorities had been on strike too, which meant just a few people handling the baggage from all the flights - nightmare!
