Is that you baby?
Hello. I did not recognise you! Lovely pics. And sounds like you have had a real experience. All upbeat and happy. Wait till you are skiing down Railway Street next Winter - the neighbours will be twitching their nets! Can't wait to see your motherload of photo's a week next Tuesday!!!

Brrrrr how cold is that then?
Lovely pics Rach, you are improving, and they will be nicer when we get them printed out. Interesting blog sounds like you are a seasoned traveller now. Although it is cold the placed seem poorly equipped for it. Not like us with the central heating and lecky blankets. No rationed heating for us! The skiing sounds fabulous. Well done you!

Brrrr too cold for me!
This looks freezing Rach. A real experience though. Sounds like tough going and you did well to do the half day. The crumpets with Mary sounds about my mark. Good blog but I'm off to get warm.

Best blog yet!
Oh Rach I think this is your best yet. I loved Sherry's library and the pics of you on the horse with the fabulous background are really great. You made it sound so interesting and funny. You look a bit cold in these pics. Love and miss you! Mum

Golden Bay sounds nice.
Good description here Rach, feel like I was alongside of you. The photo's do have a look of home except for the beach ones - they look lovely. Glad you have had a good time on the farm. Your journey is drawing to a close but I feel sure when you have been home a while you will be making more plans to travel. This is just the beginning.................Mum.

You nutter.
I should have loved to have seen you staggering round with your head light on. I think you are finding out so much on this journey that you will turn out to be a seriously good tramper Of course you should set out to do what you want - you meet more people and, yes, you could have been sat back at the hostel in the warmth thinking how mad at yourself you are for not having the courage. Jump to it girl. Now you can sit back in the hostel and think of what you DID achieve.

your bum looks smaller!
Hi darling, enjoyed this blog - it look's an amazing place. Two good things here are your bum looks smaller than it did when you were last here and you are, at long last, cooking for yourself. Believe me when you get older you are gonna wish you had taken MORE photo's! You will have to stick to the Magic bus now, but a lot of these trips you can organise yourself-now! Take care.

Nice one, Rach.
Looks like Katie's was a nice place to be for you to recharge those batteries. I'm glad you stayed with them it would be like being at home in a way. The Maori haka sounds interesting. Keep on -not long now till you are back with Momma.

Nice one.
Glad you are well and happy. Some nice photo's and information is good. I think we get the feeling of roughing it - living out of the car. Can you get some Maori photos to show us? Lovely views and it does look quite remote. Good luck for your next adventure. Mum.

Wonderful blog of the last bit of Oz.
Oh Rach, you have done well with this blog. I can't believe how much Newcastle is like Morecambe - you are right, I can even see the Midland Hotel!! The Hostel looks nice and clean and I think a lot of folks would like to go and stay there. I'm sure you will return to Oz - I feel you have been happier here in yourself - even minus Andy - than you were in Thailand. Easier for a girl going solo. And you seen to have a more independant attitude - I like it! Let's see if NZ kicks Australia's ass! Love - your Mum.xx
