I must have missed this one or the memory is failing me. Very nice blog. Enjoyed the photos of the harvest. Let's hope it is a good season and the grapes are good.

Dear Florence, this will be ok to drink by about November, but better with some age in the barrel for a year or more.

Great
Looks enormously proffessional. I presume to get a invitation for the first bottle to waste on temporary happiness? Cheers

Burmese entrant

Buremese Entrant 2011 wearing Arakanese style
Love the Burmese dress in this photo...the entrant this year (2011) wore Arakanese (Rakhine) Style, it's wonderful to see democracy at work, really nice to see Arakanese ancient and exotic culture being displayed this year. Here is a Thai site about Arakan: http://www.seasuntour.com/index.php?lay=show&ac=article&Id=5353338&Ntype=3... Hope to see more of Burma's diverse ethnic groups being provided with opportunities to exhibit their cultures in this freedom loving country of ours and their identities being acknowledged.

Maya's Blessing
Dear Rob and Lorenza, We have just seen your lovely account of Maya's Blessing. It is really beautiful and we feel privileged to be able to share such a special and quite unique tradition. Maya is a lucky young lady to have you both for her spiritual guidance now and in the future. We thank you for taking on such an important role in her life. Best wishes and sincere thanks, Patrick and Judith D.

"a common feature that ties everything up" that is very true
25th January 2011

of traditions and customs
Thank you for sharing this. It is a unique tradition and custom. And I am sure a very meaningful ceremonial rite. I like how people of different convictions and beliefs express their spirituality in different ways. Different, yes, yet there seems to be a common feature that ties everything up. I think it is the spirituality that the tradition and ceremony stirs in each one of us.

Yes, I got my bag after 2 days. Vietnamese Airlines was great and to be honest they dealt with my lots baggage much better than a famous British airline that lost my bags a few years before. I was really happy how they dealt with my problem and acted very professionaly to help me out.

Baggage
Hello, I understand your baggage was missing on your arrival to Hanoi. Did it come back safely and on time?

We appreciate your food photos. We do the same thing. Food is so much a part of the experience you can't help but film it. The tomato and tofu looks grand.

Delicious
Great review! I've been to Cabramatta a few times as well and there's always so much to see and eat. I've just booked myself and some friends into a food tour of Cabramatta & can't wait! It is run by 2 food bloggers so we're hoping to see lots of hidden gems from a local's perspective. If anybody else is interested - www.iatemywaythrough.com/tours.html

Didn't know there's one!
"I would not be able to help imagining some Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon moves in those outfits and be disappointed I could not float above the tree tops. " That made me laugh! but I would have felt the same way. :))
