happy birthday Hi grandson Happy birthday Most 21 yearolds go to Las Vegas and order a margarita , not RJ he has to go up into the sky in Bolivia. Happy Birthday hugs and kisses, luv ya.
Enjoyed reading your journal and it seems you've been very lucky in getting a nice home, meeting good people. You do show good instincts about your surroundings and taking it easy the first few days.
Is their spanish like the one we speak here in the u.s. or is it some dialect? By now we're sure you have found Burger King or some american fast food. Grandpa wants to know how much it is. Mirza seems to be a good cook, but try to know what you are eating. We are the ones who are intereted in what kind of food they serve. The altitude pill you took the first day helped you alot, poor John we hope he is better by now.
Okay asta luego amigo, saludes de tu abuellos
Robbie becareful! Make sure u get your foot checked! And try to communicate where you are to the people u live with, it sounds like they were worried! Also, you should try some saltenas. They are some sort of empanadas. Pretty good!
So proud of you Rob! This is definitely an amazing adventure! You are starting to know more about Bolivia than I am! Oh my! Ha ha! I love fried bananas! Delicious! And yes from what I recall when I was 5 yrs old.. Wooden floors and socks can be dangerous lol! Well enjoy yourself and keep on writting ur blog!:)

Bloody Bolivian! That is not a good way to end your journal entry, that you are bleeding in mouth and foot and don't know why. Now your real mom is very worried. Let us know that it is nothing serious as soon as possible. Great update, little update are fine, you don't have to feel like you need to write a book each time. We are not complaining because we are both riveted on your every word. Be careful walking alone, stay hydrated, drink fresh water as much as you can. I am so relieved that you are doing well, just know that it has to catch up with you sometime and and recognize that you are not well so you can take the necessary precautions. Are you getting these individual notes? I know Gramma and Grandpa both said they had sent you notes, but I don't know if you are responding to them. I know you have not responded back to my individual notes. Remember that each text is .50, I am OK with a few a day, just don't go overboard. We should set a day and time to try and "skype" each other. Take care, Dad.
ur alive! glad to hear ur alive and not suffering from whatever horrible disease John Honey got....he should of taken those pills like you man, oh well! oh, and in other news....you know that one "Cooler than Me" song we both heard on the radio before you left? well....apparently, its by some white dude named Mike Posner. Here's a link I found to the official video....its actually pretty legit.

u should try fucking with this song on fruity loops or something....its a pretty bomb song. aight, hit me up man! It's fucking lonely here in Yorba Linda without you....no homo
You made it! Great to hear from you, glad you are well. let us know about the family you are staying with and your accommodations. 8K elevation in Cochabamba must seem like nothing compared to 12+K in La Paz. How far are you from John and his location? There are plenty who are worried about you so keep on bloggin'!
Hey! I am sure it feels like you have been traveling for a week or more. That was a long 36 hour period to get to your final destination, Cochabamba, Bol. Let us know what it is like when you can. What do you see, hear, smell, feel and taste? - Dad
