| 18th May 2008 Aunt Phyllis | "Fascinating" - From: The Rhine River and Rheinfel's Rambling Ruins I enjoyed the trip even though I wasn't with you, you just make it feel like I was. One thing.........I would not have gone in those tunnels. I'll be looking foward to future blogs, and revisiting the past ones. Love you...... |
| 16th May 2008 Roaming Rosie | - From: The Rhine River and Rheinfel's Rambling Ruins Depends... this one took a few hours. |
| 16th May 2008 BadFlogDog | Awesome Photos - From: The Rhine River and Rheinfel's Rambling Ruins Enjoyed the photos (and the writing)... how long do you usually spend on preparing these posts? |
| 27th March 2008 BadFlogDog | Rothenburg odT Rocks! - From: Christmas Across Germany Hey Rosemary... this brings back memories. Did ya'll run around the ramparts like frenzied medieval archers?!? I'm gonna venture a guess and say no. Happy Travels... |
| 16th March 2008 Aunt Phyllis | Christmas across Germany - From: Christmas Across Germany Finished viewing your blog on Christmas across Germany.....The pictures were beautiful and the descriptions professional. It makes one want to take a trip to Germany at Christmas time, (if I wasn't afraid to fly). I especially liked the snowballs at the bakery.....you can throw those snowballs at me anytime. Love you |
| 15th March 2008 Lynn | Lil' miss artist - From: Speyer: A Tiny Town with a Big History Hey Ro, You've always been a great writer, but I just realized you are quite the photographer too. Perhaps we'll collaborate on an art history textbook in our late middle age;-) I finally understand what it is to visit some place and not be able to translate everything, so I know what you meant when you visited the museum on your Speyer trip. Prior to this past December I've always traveled to Spanish speaking countries, so that was no problem for me. But, translating historic and museum jargon from Russian and Ukrainian...yeah....didn't quite get it all. Still it's fun to see new places! |
| 15th March 2008 Paul | Eagles Wings - From: Birds of Prey at Burg Guttenberg Shannon and I went to a similar place on Vancouver Island back in July 06. Birds of prey are incredible. |
| 15th March 2008 Paul | Ibis! - From: Christmas Across Germany We stayed at that Ibis when we left for our honeymoon back in '05. It was pitiful! But you should have seen the one we stayed at in Paris with De Rego a few months earlier. Now that one was simply awful. |
| 15th November 2007 K9 Jim | - From: A Voyage for Chocolate, and So Much More I think it's funny that wherever Roaming Rosie goes, she always seems to find a Hard Rock Cafe to eat at. Cologne sounds like a fascinating city, wish we could have gone when I visited. |
| 13th November 2007 K9 Jim | - From: A Very Sunny Beach Escape Margaritas, tequilla, and topless women on sunny beaches. Sounds like a great vacation to me. The pictures reminded me that I have to put up a cuidado con el perro sign at my house. |
| 13th November 2007 K9 Jim | - From: A Stop Along the Neckar River: Mosbach What could be better than fried mozzarella squares along the banks of the Neckar River! |
| 13th November 2007 K9 Jim | - From: A Day in DC DC must be beautiful when the cherry blossoms are in bloom. I think my favorite part was my tour of the US Capitol. |

| 25th August 2006 Badflogdog | - From: Our Weekend in Paris ..."It was a long bus ride, leaving Paris at 1500 and arriving home at 2230" haha, for some reason I find this statement kind of humorous, in a strictly regimental type humour, of course. Were the Parisians showing the DaVinci Code??? |
| 25th August 2006 badflogdog | agua... - From: A Gloomy Day in a Roemerstadt I don't understand the fascination with carbonated water! Marketing? |
