Well I made it home on Sunday somewhat blearyeyed. We had a bloody tops last few days in Morzine with Sooz. On Annie's last day on Tuesday we ventured down to a lake perched high in the mountains and enjoyed yet another superb French culinary experience for lunch. I'm off the frogs legs now. This time it was something more conventional Salmon. The chicks had Trout. And of cours http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/France/Rh-ne-Alpes/blog-201906.html Paris Prince Nice Well Steve has gone back to Oz now which was very sad... Emma I have just arrived at the hostel in Nice after a VERY big few days. I've had about 8 hours sleep in the last 3 days... I'm waiting for our room to be ready at the moment I just wanna go to bed. Paris was AWESOME I loved it. When Em I got there on fri night we went out to Saint Michel for some dinner had a bit of a walk around http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/France/Ile-de-France/Paris/blog-201489.html White Water Rafting Today was a continuation of our action adventure in Morzine. We went white water rafting on a 7 kilometre stretch of river about 20 minutes from where we are staying. The 4 of us were in one boat along with our guide. Another boatload of Frenchies were also on our expedition. We of course were the party boat making enough noise to raise the dead while the Frenchies poked along without a sound. It http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/France/Rh-ne-Alpes/blog-199024.html Morzine in the French Alps Steve saysAlas it's the last leg of my trip. And what a damn shame too. We hired a car in Geneva and drove to Morzine which was an experience in itself. Trying to drive a manual with the opposite hand in a foreign nonEnglish country with a dodgy car rental map is no mean feat let me tell you. It took us about twice as long as it should have but we made it in one piece. The drive was pretty s http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/France/Rh-ne-Alpes/blog-199020.html Ahh Segovia We spent the night last night in Segovia and have just returned to Madrid this afternoon.Segovia in contrast to Toledo has an undeniable buzz to it. It doesnt lack for soul thats for sure. Nor does it lack for party spirit Our hotel was a gorgeous little place on what we discovered is known as party street in Segovia. And yes they partied and partied and partied. To about 5am in fact. We fl http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Spain/Castile-Leon/Segovia/blog-198009.html Toledo the tourist trap Fleury saysIn Toledo half hour train ride from Madrid we stayed at a lovely little hotel overlooking this beautiful cathedral thanks to recommendation from Kez Gaz. We went for a walk around Toledo through the cathedral although it was really pretty after a few hours we were wondering what to do with ourselves. So we bought a bottle of vino went back to our room proceeded to get drun http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Spain/Castile-La-Mancha/Toledo/blog-198012.html Boy George Just a quick one just adding a photo of Boy George whom we went to see DJ at club called Turnmills in London the night before we left for Madrid. He was REALLY good most of the time although I think he was really drunk or something as he stuffed up quite a few times. But awesome just to see him nonetheless http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/United-Kingdom/England/Greater-London/blog-198003.html Ola para Espana In short we LOVE this town Madrid rocks. Theres a drinking hole every 15 metres. An endless sea of outdoor terrazas crammed with people day and night. And by night I mean ALL night. I now understand the point of their siestas. That time of the day usually about 3 hours starting from midday through 2pm where the shutters come down and all the workers go to sleep. Awesome I love it. When I http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Spain/District-of-Madrid/Madrid/blog-197135.html Lifestyles of the rich the famous... Well we arrived in London on Tuesday afternoon everyone was asking 'oh you poor things how was your flight' My reply was 'not so bad because WE GOT UPGRADED TO BUSINESS CLASS WOOHOO'. Oh my god I really should be rich because that is the only way to fly not only did we get the skybeds the 3 course meals they were also serving Billecart Salmon champagne my favourite champagne in the w http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/United-Kingdom/England/Greater-London/Kilburn/blog-195285.html Hot as Honkers Well the Hong Kong leg of the trip is done and dusted. Off to London tomorrow. Honkers has been kind to us. It's been hot but not too oppressively so.Hong Kong in a word was...HECTIC It's intense. The city is jammed with people. I guess this impression is borne of the fact that we pretty much didn't leave downtown HK. The one day we did venture out of the city to the south of Hong Kong island w http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Hong-Kong/Hong-Kong-Island/blog-194984.html
