Great story.
Rick, I'm not used to living life vicariously but your stories are incredible. I've got one for you. Marla and I spent last weekend at a friends ranch in Arizona. I met him at Hoas' place. Makes it seem like a long time ago. Very much enjoy your tales. All the best.

Great stuff Rick!!
Really enjoyed this last entry. Even without seeing SE Asia for myself you were still able to take me on a great trip through Vietnam. I can tell you have a passion for writing and I hope you are able to follow it for as long as you like. The only media worthwhile that you have missed in Canada has been the Oilers run in the playoffs - it has been pretty exciting. Enjoy the rest of your travels and I look forward to more pictures and stories.

awesome
Hey buddy, Great great read and all so true. Its great to see someone find a way to put it all into words when so few of us can. It truely is amazing over there isn't it. And yet there's so few of us who get it. You find so many people who've never seen campfires and who are there just for the beaches. A shame but whatever. You live and you learn. Looking forward to catching up at the wedding!! Chad

wow!!
Rick, finally I got to share a piece of your tales. Envious. But more than that, both you and Tynesha have a way of telling your stories that makes you feel the visions, smells and sounds--like we're there. You have a way with words Rick. I can only hope these trails lead you both to many more throughout your lifetime. WOW!! Such experiences. Thanks for sharing them with us Coronation, Alberta, Canada livers (livers--hah hah) out in the middle of nowhere. Miss you Rock. WOW!! I'm so PROUD of you! Love your Aunty Terese.

I like the hair cut...
as well as this weeks blog. Everything sounds so amazing I wish I would have paid more attention in school to know what things are like over there. But... reading your take on things is much more interesting! Take care!!!

Happy Birthday - late!
Hi Tynesha, Happy "Belated" Birthday to you! I thought I had it all figured out as April 29th, but your mom straightened me out. You look so cold in China! So the beach is the way to go, good call. Enjoy yourself kiddo, bye.

(**^%&&jealous!!
God, I know about that cloud of Jens, and I'm hopping in it!!! Damn it, my little fisties are pulling out my hair that i didn't get even an eighth that courageous when I was over there. You've taught me something kids, to just go do it. Isn't there a slogan somewhere about that? Anyway, your pics are absolutely fabulous, can hardly wait to see you two and your photos.

Rick, all I can say is that you have a real gift for manipulation of the english language. I almost feel like I'm right there beside you two, wallowing in the sheer 'foreign-ness' of the land. In actuallity, here I sit in a reeking cloud of good-natured jealousy/pride (that I've got such awesome people like you guys as my best friends), drinking a pilsner and telling my stupid cat to shut up for the millionth time tonight. I love you and miss you and I cant wait till you come home with a zillion stories to share. Jen

Okay, I'll add one too.
Hi kids, your pics are still awesome, and so's the writing. I tell practically everyone I see to check out your site. Just simply having - I'm a mom - syndrome. Keep em coming....
