welcome to HK again! - From: Hong Kong and the end of the road (for China....)
Train became normal after snow storm been cleared. Good to hear that you love HK. This convinced that I didnt lie to you guys when I worked in Manchester. There are more than what you said in HK. Country parks in HK like Lake District. Seafood eating places definitely better than Blackpool. Restaurants and fast food shops everywhere and taste definitely better than Chinatown in UK. A lot of China temples that worth visiting. MTR is similar to London but higher standard. Trams along HK Island like Blackpool train. Star Ferry and other outlying islands visit like Cheung Chau is worth to try. Rich's way to Buddha can feel the old way - taking ferry and take bus - up and down the hills and near all beaches - is worth to go but a bit long journey and tired. I haven't tried the cable car - the longest in the world. A bit shame that we can only be back to HK at end Feb so that we cant travel along with you in HK. Eager to read your next blog.

Chinese are not easy - From: xian - home of karaoke and some bits of pottery
Train - you will see how many chinese in the station.... Taking train particularly long distance train are poor people. You can see/smell how back the situation in train station. Karaoke hotel - you see something different in china for the culture. Restaurants and karaoke - the decoration is really 6-stars... Chinese enjoyed Big/luxury when they consume services. From above two, u see how large the income gap is........

Great Job - From: So many steps....
Amazing you guys climbed up to the hill! Admired even I didnt go to this Jinshanling before. What I heard this is an abandoned wall. Simatai is a good place to see a rather uncrowded great wall. If you go for the usual Badaling, you will see thousand of people walking along side with you. You two, now become the HERO! (with kung fu as well!!) Looking forward to hear your Xian trip!!

Nice Gathering with Rich & Sally - From: Brrrrr
1."beef ball" - it made manually rather than using machine to do it. finally although we brought back to hotel but we didnt eat either. 2. cracy guy - think he got drunk or rather he is interested for your belongings. Nor he is a beggar would like to eat with you guys! 3. You forgot to mention your peking duck with the first try of chinese white wine! 4. I called you several times to the hotel but really cant get you up. I stayed in Xian from 27th nite to 30 early morning and back to Shandong, where Tracy's hometown. Anyway, enjoy the rest of trip with Great Wall & Ancient Xian! I definitely think you love it. 5. A bad news - snowing is very serious and it affects a lot of train schedule, your shanghai trip may need to cancel or take flight to go there as well as your Gulian!

Hot Pot - From: Brrrrr
Ah, the old hot pot, you guys have any eels and pig's heads? Try going more north if you want to experience severe cold, it will be good for you, it will clear up so old limbs. Go all the way and hang with Aussies, they everywhere. Good luck to Rich talking to them about sports. There is only ever going to be one winner, THEM. Well glad you guys arrived safely, don't drink too much beers, I know how incredibly cheap they are. Look forward to your next blog.
