Remembered in Msalato Hi Jeannie & Rob,
It still seems strange that we are not seeing you around at Msalto - you have both been so much part of the place. As we are now living in your house, we are thinking of you most days! You know that you are and will be remembered by so many here; by students and staff & many people in the villages you visited. God bless you both as you settle back in at home and move onto the next part of your life-journey. With love from us all.
What an amazing adventure! Two years away from home and all those wonderful memories that will be with you forever. God took care of you both and brought you back home safe and sound. Glad to hear from you and hoping to meet with you soon.
God Bless you both. Take care.
Fern
welcome home Thank you for all the wonderfully descriptive blogs over the past two years. I feel as if I have learnt a great deal through your eyes. I am currently in Australia seeing my son and being shown around. Just came back from Cairns where we visited Kuranda village high in the rainforest and the great barrier reef. God's magnificent creations in such abundance. It was good to see you briefly in London. I have many fond memories of my visits to Canada and St. Philips. I am sure everyone is delighted you are now 'home'. Take care of yourselves and I look forward to hearing of your next adventure!
For your dedication over the 2 yrs., your perk at the end was your homeward trip with such a nice variety of cultures, city scapes, ocean views, but most of all re-connection with your friends and family. No one can ever truly realize what the experience in Tanzania means to you both......that is a private journey. Thank you for sharing it in pictures and stories with me.
Welcome Home It was indeed good to see you again and we look forward to seeing how the remark that you'll never be the same plays itself out in new ways. We know God has more plans for your creative and generous spirits.
I really do hope that you will spend some time compiling these well-written blogs into something permanent. They have been a joy to read. God Bless and guide you both.
Hi Rob and Jeannie,
You had the most amazing time at the Mission School and made a difference to many. I enjoyed seeing your photos and reading about your last days there. It must have been hard leaving so many friends. I look forward to seeing you both when you get back home.
Affectionately, Anne
Hello! Looking forward to seeing you. We are in charge of CAGT this year so will include you in our distribution. Hope travels are going well. Returning home will be a shock but with your experiences over the past 2 years you will return with a warmth in your heart. Good work you two!!!!!!
See you soon.
What an Aventure! I was delighted to read about the Big Five events and to see the many photos. What memories you will have of your time in Africa.
Looking forward to seeing you when you get home.

Such an Adventure Hi! Absolutely the best "critter" pics. Must have been so nice to have family visit. The mud story & pic is unbelievable......better Rob driving than JC .....he must have told you the story of sinking his truck when Simon & Tom visited. No doubt his version is different from theirs.
Safe travels! See you in the fall.

Hi Rob & Jeannie Glad to hear you had family come to Africa to visit you. What an experience for them and for you to be able to show them around where you have been living the past two years. Sounds like a great time was had by all! Leaving for home June 13th will be an emotional time for you having to say "hope to see you again" to all those wonderful people. God Bless you both for all the guidance and teaching you have given the people of Tanzania/Dodoma. Hope to be in touch when you arrive back in Ontario. Safe trip and all the best! Love you guys.
What an amazing trip. I loved hearing about your travels with Fran and Jack. It sounded so amazing. It is so nice that you have this all written down for your memories. Glad you got your window rolled up quickly Rob and that you didn't get stuck in the mud. Beautiful pictures. Thanks for sharing.
HAPPY EASTER - enjoyed your comments about your visit to Chikola Hi Rob & Jeannie,
Rob you have a wonderful writing style. It's such a pleasure to read your stories.
You've done one of the things I would have liked to do if I were there - actually spend an overnight in a village. In my case it would be Lugala, of course.
You are nearing the end of the school year and your time a Msalato and you've accumulated so many rich experiences.
Has it occurred to you, as it has to me, that your stories and photos need to be assembled into a permanent journal, album, or book?
What a blessing it has been for your readers as you've brought us along vicariously on your travels.
Jesus Christ is Risen
He is Risen Indeed. Alleluia!
HAPPY EASTER

Beautiful pictures Sounds like quite an adventure over Christmas break . I've learned that 2 step a few years ago in Mexico and thought I was going die !!! Take care and keep up the good work.
It is a real pleasure to read your blog every time. The memories that you are creating will last more than a lifetime as will the efforts that the both of you are fulfilling to help many less fortunate. Our contined prayer is that God will keep you safe and healthy. We hope that sometime in the future you will return to Canada so that we might have the real pleasure of listening to a few stories of your experiences.
Hi Rob & Jeannie Happy New Year.
Each blog you write is more exciting and interesting than the one before. What an amazing adventure you two have taken! The stories you will have to tell when you get back home.......
I guess your mission is coming to an end. When do you expect to return to Canada?
It would be great to have tea one day and hear all about your fantastic adventure. All the best in your next term and God Bless you both for the missionary work you are doing.
Take care and safe journey home.
Love you guys,
Fern
Exciting That sounds like a very exciting and sometimes treacherous trip. I\'m glad you made it past the bull elephants and out of the washroom. I certainly appreciate more of what I have just from reading your blogs. Enjoy your last semester. I\'m sure it will go fast. See you soon.
Merry Christmas and Happy New year What amazing stories. You have been very busy. How nice to hear about all the maize giving to the elders. You will be bored when you return to Canada. Hope you are healthy and well. Enjoy your holidays. All the best from Whitby Canada.
Merry Christmas and Safe Travels! Thx so much for sharing your Christmas view from Tanzania. You both look so content in your pics...hope that is true. Enjoy your travels and look forward to continued stories. John is here for 2 months break Had all 6 sibs for Curtin Christmas which is sooooo important to their Mom. Your blogs are extremely informative and with all you both are doing, I don't know when you have the time to write. You are accomplishing so much and have seen so much on your travels. Surely there will be a book in the making when you return. Can't believe that you have been gone for over a year now! God Bless you both in the coming months.
Rob and Jeannie are moving to Dodoma, Tanzania in July, 2011 to volunteer with students at Msalato Theological College and St. John’s University.
