I knew my typical trip equation would work and it did to the nth degree. Travel Fast No Real Plan Foreign Country 6 Gringos A wild adventure with tons of things going wrong but so right. I knew I was off to a good one as I waited at the airport for my ride to come. 600 700 800. I was so shocked there was no one to pick me u http://www.travelblog.org/South-America/Colombia/blog-443260.html T.I.A. This is Africa As if the Running of the Bulls was not enough fulfillments for one vacation I still had 5 days left to drive to Africa and wander Morocco for a few days. So after dropping off Alex and Irish at the Airport we picked up our new Canadian companion Erin. I donrsquot think she had any idea what were in store for her over the next few days but then again either did we. We hit the road from Madri http://www.travelblog.org/Africa/Morocco/blog-324024.html SunJam 2008 and Multiple Other Shinanigans on Utila 8 Times going back to the little island of Utila and it still gets better every time. Mostly because we had a great group of guys that gave it all we had for a hell of a week that seemed like an eternity. Usually I remember vacations going by fast but we jam packed so much in to everyday I think we tricked our brains into thinking we were there a lot longer then we were. That just means I ca http://www.travelblog.org/Central-America-Caribbean/Honduras/Bay-Islands/Utila/blog-314780.html Running from Bulls Gypsies and Chasing assumed thieves in Spain This blog has been a long time coming as I got back from this trip over a month ago but with all that happened on this trip I needed to write something to remember all the things that happened. Before I start I just want to say that this festival called San Fermin better known as the running of the bulls was one of the greatest experiences of my life. It was complete sensory overload for 2 1 http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Spain/Navarre/Pamplona/blog-314773.html How to make 2 Million People Smile I survived barely that is. That marathon was definately the most difficult physical thing I have ever done in my life. At this point I am over coming my last pain in my torn achilles tendon. I want this puppy to heal so I can start running again and training for my next one. Running that race was like finding a drug Ive been looking for ever since I played my last game for Ohio State. After 6 months of running running and more running the race is finally upon me. Its been an interesting road. I definitely started this journey thinking I was going to conquer this thing on my first marathon and qualify for Boston. What I didn't realize is doing a advanced training program and keeping injury free is tougher than I thought. Over the course of the summer and fall http://www.travelblog.org/North-America/United-States/New-York/New-York/Manhattan/blog-216384.html Near Death Experiences are Fun as Long as you get to tell the Story..... Two weeks in Honduras Actually on the Bay Islands off the coast of Honduras and Mostly on a little island called Utila. It was much better than the other option of going down there blind. I got to this tiny town of Rio Pico late at night and that is where I attempted to download the pictures of the last blog and almost punched out the computer. I ended up finding a nice street in town to make m http://www.travelblog.org/South-America/Argentina/Chubut/Esquel/blog-125368.html Pictures from the Last Blog Here are the pictures that I left out of the last blog. Entonces. so in spanish I left mendoza around 900 on wed night and hopped on a two level bus on my way to Neoquen. These buses down here are no greyhound. They are luxury for a bus. We had a nice dinner and then I managed to instantly fall asleep. When I awoke we were already in Neoquen after a 12 hr journey. I got a cab at the bus station and took off to the airport in search of my rental http://www.travelblog.org/South-America/Argentina/Rio-Negro/San-Carlos-de-Bariloche/blog-121279.html Voyage to the End of the World My last couple days in Mendoza have been full of action. Exactly how I like things. I just cant stand getting caught in the lazy days of vacation where you do absolutly nothing. That is except Ruttgers. That is an exception. So on Monday I had arranged to a trip to Argentina Rafting to go down the Rio Mendoza. I have been white water rafting in Honduras once before and had a great time.
