El día de 22 fueron a los baños turkos Ian y Brittany. Moniek y yo les dejamos y hicimos un poco de las compras. Esta noche, salimos por tapas con Alejandro, una persona de CS que habíamos encontrado en una reunión anterior, y su amigo, cuyo nombre me olvido. Fuimos a una sidrería, cual fue guay. Bueno, es que tengo que recordarme lo que pasó empezando con este día. A ver... Esta mañana llegaron Ian y Brittany. Tratamo de quedarnos a la parada de metro, esperamos y esperamos Moniek y yo, después de un rato decedí a regrasar a casa y ver si ellos me han enviadio un mensaje, pero cuando estaba allí llegó Moniek y me dijó que ellos estaban allí entonces me bajé y les ayudé con sus maletas. Pues...el Jueves salimos con los francese. Bueno, no el grupo entero, solo Arthur y Romin. Estaba divertida hasta que me pondre mala.... luego el resta de la noche fue mala mala mala...no quiero hablar en esto... Ayer fue horrible. Tenemos resacas todo el dia y hacia taaan calor... fue terrible... Alrededor de las 7 llamamos a los caballeros que nos ayudaron la otra noche y estabamos supuestos a encontrar con ellos para cenar, pero ellos nunca nos llamaron. Last night was so much fun! Moniek and I tried to go to the Seven Sins for delicious strawberry mojitos. We wandered around for a while looking for it, but couldnt find it. We ended up back near the metro stop when 4 guys stopped and asked, in Spanish and almost all at once where la Joya (a club) was, but they were quite boisterous and entertaining in their asking. 14, 15, 16 Yesterday (16th) I ran some errands- I went to el Corte Ingles and while i was there I stopped at H and M (its sooo cheap here) and a couple of other stores. Around 4? Moniek and I left for the Prado Museum, but while we were walking there, we stopped at the Botanical Gardens. We spent so much time there that we decided to stay there and return to the Museum the next day. Well, same old same old for this entry. I went out again last night with Moniek, Adila, and Miguel. We went to this bar called El Perro to watch the Drunken Monkees play. Had 3 shots of vodka before we left, but an hour, hour and a half it was already starting to wear off, what the crap!? Met this funny girl there from Canada. The bouncer wouldnt let her in even tho shed paid because he said no one had told him about it. Thing is, she didnt speak Spanish, and he didnt speak English, so I was the interpreter. Well, as one can see, I got pretty drunk last night. Moniek and I stayed for the English lessons at 930 and I felt bad, because we kind of took over the conversation from the England English guy and he left the table to go to the bar... There were 2 guys, Jose? and Nacho and a girl, Maria, from Spain, another guy who was I thiiink Italian but his parents had lived in Argentina and so he spoke Spanish, Italian, and English, his name was Alfredo, and then Moniek and I and Adila. Yesterday we didn't do much. I went to the library. It was very interesting. I used the Internet and got a library card. I felt very accomplished. Like if I can get a card I could survive in a Spanish-speaking country. Well, I know that that's not totally true, but it is a small step towards being independent in a foreign country. Then we hung out at home until around 3:30 when Adila came over and we made crepes with vegetables. They were so delicious. Adila made the crepes and Moniek and I sauteed the vegetables.
