Visits to Local Monuments
Thanks for the visit to the Fort. Even though I resided in Chennai for many years, I never visited this place. I had on several occasions visited Parry's Corner, the Chennai High court, and the Parry's Bus Terminal which happened to be near the High Court in those days. I remember its location, it is on the beach road just as you near Parry's corner. Thanks again......

The Andaman Islands are simply awesome; there is no heaven I can imagine that exceeds the beauty of the magnificent beaches, the reefs and the jungles. All I can say if you wish to experience nature in its unspoiled best,take a break, go to Andaman and experience yourself in nature. regards, www.onlineqatar.com

Hi Saravanan, Thanks for posting your comments. I remember we paid around Rs.1500/- or Rs.1700/- for the cab. This can be negotiated as many guys are there at the station and it takes a good 3 hours or more. Do visit my other blgos too !! Also buses are thre, but if you are a groupd / family better you can take a cab for a leisure drive. Have a nice travel. rgds / Ramz

Query about Wayanad trip
Hi Ramanan, Your blog about Wayanad trip is wonderful and the photos posted are very nice. You have not mentioned as to how much paid for cab from Calicut to Wayanad. Can you please let me know the same. This will help in bargaining cab guys because i have planned to visit to Wayanad by last week of Dec'11. I have already booked train ticket up to Calicut. But i have not decided as to whether to take cab or travel by bus to reach Wayanad. Please do provide your suggestions. Thanks in advance, S Saravanan

We stayed at the fortune bay hotel as we got a very good package then due to the weather and lean period.Our plans for Havelock was to come back same day but i was told you can stay there provided you get a good hotel as some of my friends said they could not find a very good one. Since travel time is over 2 hours you can as well return same day. Have a good trip. Ramz.

Really, I have started dreaming of going to the Andamans. I am Bijeet from Kolkata. Could you give me an approximate amount that I need to spend for going to Andamans (by flight from Kolkata) for 3 persons. Me, my wife and my 10 years old daughter. Need to fix the finance first. The description was excellent, the pictures were beautiful.
