| 3rd June 2006 Jenny | aww - From: Rafting Sangil is where my parents are from and I have to say I am so happy to see that you chose to explore it! With its dangerous rep, many people are afraid to venture into Colombia and its a shame because Colombia (particularly sangil/Bucaramanga) is such a beautiful country! Everytime I leave it I come back in tears! I'm glad to see you enjoyed your stay, and btw with the rafting, you have to know who to choose to go with! When I went rafting it was part of the adventure to purposely throw ourselves in the water, get taken away by the current and get rescued and cut up by rocks! Since I was with very cool people we had a great time. The people on the raft next to us were obvious colombians who chose to act as if they didnt know any spanish... anyway, they were so uptight we ended up splashing water in their faces! |
