Hi, Showed your blog to my 26yr old nephew, who has been over from Canada for 9 weeks & was too scared to even catch a bus out of Weston!!!! Took him 3 weeks to pluck up courage to go to the sea front alone as we drive on the wrong side!!!! He was wowed & eventually decided maybe he could cope with the X1 to Bristol & connect with the airport bus! You are a true friend you saved me a long ardous drive this morning! Thanks. Take care- see you soon, Lots of Love Wendy

Nearly Done! - From: Cambodia
My kids too thought Anker Wort was the most amazing place & had taken virtually the same photos. Also found Nom phen very moving. I have my great-nephew over from Canada for 2 mths & he, after 5 weeks, is still too scared to walk into Weston alone- at 26-and you a mere female have travelled the world single handed. Not long now- hasn't it flown- looking forward to seeing you again Lots of love Wendy.

Nice to hear from you - From: Southern Thailand
Great to hear the next exciting episode, even though it hit our screen twice! I think we need a new pc! New pc/holiday- not a difficult decision. My (cringe) great- nephew 25yrs. is over from Canada for 2 mths & is hoping to get a student rail card & explore Europe-my next task of the evening! My other intrepid explorer friends are back in the UK so keep the travelogue flowing! The C/L casualties are not doing well-most distressing. Lots of Love- Wendy- Take care xx

Hi Gem Just read your latest entry, sound's a bit frightening to me especially in the caves!!. I'm so glad you have met up with your parents, bet they were glad to see you safe & I'm sure very tanned!!!!, What a great experience you had with the Orag-Utans the memories of that will be with you forever, it must have been fantastic to see them in their natural habitat. Take care Gem, keep safe & keep sending the photo's. Brenda

Effective what! - From: Borneo
That's what I call Rapid Response! E-mail to see where you are one day & an entry arrives the next! Why it took from Jan 9th. till April 1st. is a mystery but our computer is slow. It all sounds very exciting, very adventurous & very dangerous.I'm not surprised your parents came to check on you! I think I would have to carry a portable shower & washing machine in my back pack- says she who has not even got one in her kitchen. The electrician has just removed the old one, which was smoking, with the intention a fitting the new one which is conspicuous by its absence. We assume he would bring it with him as it was all arranged by the same company. Ass u me makes an ass out of u and me! Take care. xxx

Your Xmas entry has just hit my screen so I am very confused-it doesn't take much. I have always so wanted to see the great wall & terracotta army but John won't consider leaving Europe, unless it is Canada. Excelled myself last week & broke a bone in both hands-now THAT IS a challenge!!But I'm not giving in! Take care, lots of love Wendyxxxx PS Carol is retiring.

Hi Gem. It sounds like you are having a blast and really enjoying yourself. Not quite the same xmas dinner tho hey. The muriels and paintings are fab, and the wall looks amazing and i bet it is something that you won't really appreciate until you physically stand next to it. I still say you are one brave cookie to go off on your own and do this, things are still the same in Weston, but hey some things never change. look forward to some more reading soon Gem. Take care and stay safe hun Jo xxx

Trip still sounds wonderful,-over half-way now! It is amazing & a blessing that you are meeting such great people for help & company. John says if he were 40 years younger he'd probably drive into a lamp post admiring you. We've just returned from two very wet, very cold weeks in Fuerterventura. Glad to get home to the central heating. Back to Care-link in an hour! Take care, lots of love, Wendyxx

Wow honey, it sounds like you are having an absolutely mental time. Bit worried about you dangling off mountains though. Not a good plan. All those sessions on the climbing wall obviously paid off - I take it all back! The photos look incredible. I'm loving the hammocks in the sea. Think i would have just stayed there for ever. Have you managed to catch up with paolo and andy? All fine here. Kids currently having a holiday with sar and em in Plymouth. We are in kid free heaven! Hope all goes well on way to Peru. Love you loads x
